I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited to leave a review for anyone! I need start off by saying that I’ve been following ITLA for years and have always been a huge fan of their work. In fact it wasn’t until I stumbled upon their photos of Millwick (my now wedding venue) that I realized I could have a wedding look and feel like us! They are an unbelievably talented team and have such a unique style and artful eye for composition. On top of that they’re an absolute joy to be around. As someone who is generally uncomfortable in front of the camera, they have such a way of creating a calm and fun atmosphere. We first met Em and Taylor at our engagement shoot in DTLA and it genuinely felt like a day out with friends- starting with a meet and greet over coffee and then to walking around the streets of downtown - we had a blast and felt so comfortable we forgot there were cameras around! One of my favorite compliments received from our engagement photos was that our smiles and laughter looked genuine (not forced). Needless to say, we left our engagement shoot feeling like we just had a super fun day out w/ new friends and bonus that we got epic photos out of it. We couldn’t wait to reunite with them on our wedding day. Everyone in our bridal party came up to us throughout the day raving about how brilliant they were - how efficient comfortable they made everyone feel. It is so important to find a photographer you trust and feel comfortable with since you spend majority of the day with them. Despite feeling like friends, Em is an absolute professional - quick and proactive on emails, super helpful with developing our wedding day timeline, and throughout the wedding day super communicative leading us through the day. And on the day of, somehow managing to be everywhere at once to capture every candid laughter, silly dance move, or sentimental moment without you even realizing she’s there. Magic. ITLA did our proposal, engagement and wedding photos and they were an absolute dream come true. They captured the beauty and emotion of each event in such a unique way that I’m grateful I didn’t trust anyone else!

For our engagement session, we did three looks and they made each a stylized tableau different from the others. The care and attention they took making our engagement session such a special day made me especially confident in their abilities for our wedding day! They have a perfect balance of easy-going and professional that makes it easy to feel comfortable being photographed while having confidence in their vision. We didn’t just get great photos, we had fun with Taylor and Isaiah throughout the experience!

Similarly, we didn’t just get wedding photos, we got a team that kept us on target. We didn’t have a wedding coordinator on our wedding day and I am so thankful for the way ITLA kept everything moving with such calm and collected command; that was not something I was expecting from a photography vendor. They captured photos of everything and then some - from important highlights of the wedding to tiny details to most importantly, the people. I treasure the life and love they captured in my wedding photos and the way they made the day so smooth!

ITLA so talented! I am someone who isn’t photogenic and doesn’t know her “angles”, but Em and Taylor managed to take so many beautiful photos of us on both our engagement shoot and our wedding day. It’s hard for me to choose which photos to even leave in this review because I love so many!

My husband and I were so impressed by how comfortable they made us during our engagement shoot with our pup Kiko. And on our wedding day when nerves were high, Em and Taylor were cool, calm and captured all the special moments. It has been really fun to look back on all the photos for a day that truly flies by!

They are great people and really really good at what they do. We’re so grateful to them for capturing all our precious memories!
