Caution, glowing review ahead. After working with 5 different high-end Jewelers in 4 different states we decided to go to the source in LA's Diamond district. We found the King of Jewelers after reading all the 5-star reviews online. None of the other jewelers were transparent regarding the final product regarding the 4C’s. All of them had the same method of vagueness like I was playing 3 card Monty hoping to win one round of honesty.

After excellent commutations mostly by email from Earl and knowing exactly what we wanted in a custom wedding set, I was worried that it was all too good to be true. Everything lined up, the ring design, the 4Cs which all stones (31 of them) that came with GIA laser engraved certificates, the 3D printed wax mold, the master stone setter, and their methodology of us approving every phase of the process step by step.

All the other jewelers said 6 to 8 weeks for the rings. Not at the King of Jewelry in just 2 weeks the rings were ready for pickup after they received the deposit. We were blessed to watch the master stone setter set the center setter stone. A true lifelong master stone setter from a family of stone setters.

My boyfriend purchased my engagement ring from this vendor in February 2014 and proposed to me in May 2014. As we started planning for our December 2014 wedding and began looking at wedding bands, we quickly realized that it would be difficult to find a band that would match with the e-ring as it was not part of a bridal set. With the help of Dino at KoJ, we worked together to design a wedding band at a reasonable price that made it look like they were purchased as a bridal set. Although I was without my e-ring for about 4 weeks when all was said and done (there was some going back and forth before we ultimately approved a design), I was ecstatic with the results and was so excited to wear them together on my wedding day.
