When you first walk in to Roxbury Jewelry in the Bank Bldg at the Jewelry Mart in LA you notice their store front and business processes for working with customers is very different from the all the other shops in the Jewelry Mart. It's a family owned business and they are serious about providing the best quality diamonds and rings with the best customer service and price. You are not just another customer but someone that RoxBury cares about. Our experience working with the Roxbury team was awesome! They were super accommodating with our busy schedules. Since we don't live in LA we were able to doing things over email and phone. To this date my wife (she said yes!) gets compliments on her beautiful ring everywhere we go. Whether she is out running errands, out to dinner, working or traveling, she gets a lot of compliments (I have witnessed continual compliments on her beautiful Roxbury Ring). My wife loves her ring so much she even sleeps with it on at night :) I could not have been happier about the education of fine jewelry, the results (the custom ring) and last but certainly not least the cost. Roxbury taught me about Diamonds and the best combinations for the best prices. They were also one of the few jewelers that had larger (1+ carat) of different cut diamonds. My wife was sure she wanted radiant or emerald, but we had a very hard time finding any sample stones at other jewelers. ( I shopped at least 7-8 different stores from SD to LA). Don't take my word for it, go to at least 2-3 other jewelry stories first then hit up Roxybury's. It should be obvious at that point which jeweler is great and which jeweler just wants to sell you their current inventory at inflated prices. They don't have a fancy store front of lots of pre-made ready to sell rings, but make up for that in their quality and selection of diamonds, and ability to create exactly what you want. They have lots of samples to try on to help you figure out what you like (and do not like), if you don't already have an exact design in mind. Thanks SO much team roxbury for creating our beautiful wedding rings we will...
Read moreJeremy at Roxbury is the best jeweler you can go to in the downtown diamond district. I had a wonderful experience working with him over many months to design and curate the perfect engagement ring. I was introduced to Jeremy through another client/friend who also had a great experience.
Over the many months of coordinating during COVID, Jeremy and I exchanged countless emails, phone calls, and texts. He started with genuinely taking the time to understand my careabouts, design ideas, and my fiancé's preferences. I was able to share Pinterest pictures, sketches, all of the research I had performed to fuel the creative conversations.
When we had the opportunity to meet in person we really dove deep into a focus on diamonds for the engagement ring. This is truly where Jeremy's experience shines. While I thought I had an idea for what type of diamond I wanted 4 Cs, Jeremy was able to push my budget to the max leveraging his expertise to get the most value. This resulted in meeting and exceeding my expectations with a 2.00 carat stone which I had thought was far outside my budget.
After multiple back and forths I selected the perfect diamond and within just a few weeks Jeremy shared a CAD ring design with me from his trusted jeweler. I made a few tweaks and improvements, and a final copy of the ring was ready 2 weeks later!
Overall, Jeremy is an outstanding individual to work with (and received my parents stamp of approval) and my fiancé and I could not be happier with the result. You won't find a better diamond expert to make your dream engagement...
Read moreI proposed to my fiance about six months ago, but I started ring shopping four to five months prior to the proposal. As I was shopping around, I went to multiple jewelers between Santa Monica, Brentwood, and surrounding LA cities. They all had the same vibe - consistently trying to oversell me on expensive diamond and never allowing me to take a picture of the diamond and/or the GIA certificate.
One of my coworkers eventually recommended me to Jeremy at Roxbury Jewelery, and my expectations for ring shopping immediately changed. Jeremy took the time of day to educate me on EVERYTHING - in fact, our very first session together we spent roughly a whole hour discussing the 4 C's and all the basics. When we finally got around to parsing through the diamonds, Jeremy personally would tell me (EVEN IF THE DIAMOND WAS MORE EXPENSIVE!) if he didn't like a diamond and the reasons why. Never once did I feel like he was trying to upsell me, which, coming from someone who's day job is a salesperson, I really appreciated.
10/10 would recommend anyone/everyone to buy their diamonds from Jeremy. He'll make it...
