UCLA Health Westwood Immediate Care — Local services in Los Angeles

IT IS NOT URGENT CARE!!! YOU ARE GOING TO UCLA HOSPITAL!!! They have FALSELY USED “Urgent Care” in their search engine - and they bill you as an outpatient hospital service. I have physicians bills, hospital bills. Facilities costs. Special Room Costs and now a bill I can’t afford. This is exactly why people have such little faith in our healthcare system - disappointing is giving too much credit for how I feel right now. I would’ve NEVER stepped foot in here. EVER. Be advised, this is not an URGENT CARE, despite the descriptions and information on their website. You will likely be billed and responsible for an extremely high amount (after insurance portion is paid) versus your standard insurance's copay associated with an Urgent Care visit. FYI, you will be billed separately for a Physician visit and a Hospital visit (not sure why). That's what happened to me! This was not made aware to me before my visit or at all during my visit, and everything online would lead you to believe you are visiting an urgent care center. Hope this helps somebody. As many of the other comments have noted, this place is run like a scam company. They wildly overcharged for services, and they ran tests that they neither discussed with me nor gave me results for. As a UCLA student, I went in for some simple tests when the student health center was closed and was grossly taken advantage of. I've called three times to discuss this with the billing department and have been dismissed and told "too bad" every time. Do not come here. Find any other urgent care!
