I’m lucky that I met Tony. Words cannot express my gratitude, but I’ll give it a try.

I came to Tony looking for a diamond upgrade in my fiancée’s engagement ring on a short timeline (I was getting married in 40 days), and I got more than I could have imagined.

Even though I already had a ring made by another jeweler, I didn’t know much about diamonds or engagement ring craftsmanship. I knew that my original ring and diamonds weren’t performing well (they weren’t sparkly and the ring was heavily weighted) and I thought the main issue was the center stone. I thought if I simply upgraded the center stone from an I color to an F color, then I would have a sparkly diamond. I didn’t realize that in addition to the diamond, there are many aspects of ring craftsmanship (and diamond cutting) that make diamonds sparkle and make a ring look beautiful.

I spoke with many (~15) jewelers in the LA diamond district in search for a diamond swap. Tony was the only one who brought up other craftsmanship points that had to be addressed. To name one of many examples, the first time I brought the ring to him, he quickly identified that the inside of my original ring setting was not smoothed and polished. These are details that only fine jewelers will catch or care to fix.

In addition to his craftsmanship, he also manages his business and customer service professionally. Within days after my first visit with him, he had sourced 5 diamonds to the exact specification I had asked. Every time I called him, he answered. Every time I texted him, he texted back immediately or within a few minutes. When you’re going through a ring design on a tight timeline, these kinds of things build trust, confidence, and a relationship.

I ultimately decided to have my original diamond upgraded, the ring itself improved, and have him craft an entirely new wedding band. Not only did Tony deliver everything perfectly on schedule before my wedding, the ring and wedding band look beautifully crafted and the diamonds are incredibly sparkly and fiery.

Before meeting Tony, the diamond process was confusing and frustrating. Now after working with him, I understand what to look for in diamond rings, and even better, I have a high quality jeweler that I can trust....
