Best View on Maui — Local services in Maui

Renting the Best View on Maui turned out to be the best decision of our vacation. We wanted to experience both a resort and a condo while on Maui, so we stayed the first two nights at the Grand Wailea, but were stressed the whole time. Trying to find chairs at the beach or pool was challenging, and the cost for food and drink was outrageous. We checked out of the hotel and went to the local Costco to purchase food and souvenirs for family (buy your Hawaiian Host macadamia nut chocolate candies there-great deal!) and checked into the Best View on Maui. Parking was so close and the condo was very well appointed. When we entered the unit, we were immediately impressed with the beautiful view and the proximity of the beach. On our first, and every subsequent visit to the beach, we saw sea turtles. In fact we noticed that the local dive boats were stopping in front of our beach to show off the turtles and other sea life there. I was concerned about road noise being so close to the road. However, the proximity to the road allowed us to view all the action: from people watching, sunsets, families picnicking on the grass, etc. We loved sitting out on the lanai each evening to share food and drinks at the table, while watching the beautiful sunsets that Maui is so famous for-what a treat! Great and reasonably-priced restaurants are just a few blocks walk away as well. Compared to the high end hotels, this condo allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the rest of the trip. This was our first trip to Maui and the condo is just as advertised. The location to the beach was perfect. Just a few steps and you are right there on a nice sandy beach to swim or boogie board. We spent almost every night watching the sunset from the lani. The unit is a quick walk to food, shopping, and other activities. I recommend the Taco's at Moose's on Tuesday. The Cinnamon Roll Place was awesome too. There where three couples on this trip and we all had plenty of room. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms were big and clean. I liked having a washer and dryer in the unit. It was so convenient. The owners provided beach towels and beach toys like chairs, boogie boards, snorkel sets and coolers. Almost anything you could think of they had in there. Parking was easy, right outside the unit and even though you are right next to the road we didn't hear anything at night. The area was pretty quiet. The pool, tennis courts, and BBQ's were also close by. The owners were easy to work with and responded quickly to all our questions. Our family recently enjoyed 2 wonderful weeks in Maui and we are so glad that we chose "Best View on Maui" for our stay.
