Martin & Macarthur Shops at Wailea — Local services in Maui

As a long time customer and annual visitor to Maui, I was recently disappointed in the service from M & M. I had a beautiful Koa cell phone stand I got a few years ago, but haven't used it because it's quite lopsided and the cell phone won't sit straight. I made it back to Maui (after restrictions sort of lifted) and brought the stand with me to see what they could do. (Turns out they've completely redesigned them since then.) But the best they would do is sell me a new one for 50% off and let me keep the old one. Not sure why they thought that would suffice. I wasn't keen on spending more money and keeping one that didn't serve its purpose. Disappointed because I have spent thousands with them and always been very happy. Love there stuff and quality, have purchased a handful or pieces over the years and in one other circumstance had a small issue, and was rectified immed, sad to say, bought a ring, and yes it is approx 3 years old… it started to fade / break apart; I did go to the shop, the gentlemen was excellent followed up and said no repair,(Howard was extremely helpful & polite!) We visited their Whaler’s Village location and found some great artwork by Rob Kaz and decided to make a trip out to Wailea to look at additional artwork by him. We are glad we made the trip as we were able to find a unique original piece signed by the artist that was a perfect choice to help remember this trip.
