The Bindery Event Space — Local services in McMinnville

I had my wedding reception at the Bindery this fall and it could not have been more perfect. The owner, Chelsea, was very accommodating and it went off without a hitch. I would recommend this space for anyone looking for a reception venue in the downtown McMinnville area, the location is perfect. The space is incredible and easily held all of my 100 guests. We had enough room for a bar, dj, photo booth, appetizer table, welcome table, couch/lounge space, and even a coffee stand. Because this space is very open, there is so much room to breathe and has a great industrial feel (which becomes very charming when the twinkle lights hanging from the ceiling are turned on). This provided the perfect backdrop for the vision that I had in mind, and also gave me the opportunity to choose whichever look desired for the reception which was very liberating. Again, Chelsea was very helpful in making all of these ideas come to fruition. Most importantly I would say is that all of our guests, young and old, were very comfortable. This was a very magical night for me and my husband, and we are both so grateful that we chose to have our reception at The Bindery. I would recommend this space to friends or family for any similar event...

It is honestly hard for us to put into words how amazing our wedding at The Bindery was. We were originally scheduled to do our wedding at another location, we reached out two weeks before to move to The Bindery. When we reached out to Chelsey she didn't waste any time making sure our day was perfect. She is attentive and dedicated to her beautiful space while also making sure all of her clients feel welcome. Our experience with Chelsey and The Bindery was 1000 times better than our original venue and we wish we would have just went with her from the start! The space is beautiful and can make any vision come to life. We can't say enough great things about this venue and the beautiful people who run it! From start to finish Chelsey worked with our coordinators to make sure our day was perfect. If you are trying to decide where to have your wedding I know you won't be disappointed with this space.

The bonus is a lot of great hotels/airbnbs in the area that our family and friends loved, plus it doesn't get any more quaint and cute than downtown...

So happy we picked The Bindery for our wedding! It was the perfect blank canvas for our colorful summer to fall transitional theme. The natural light was amazing on our day in late September, and the photos turned out stunning.

Everybody was so nice and easy to work with. Lisa and Chelsey both were great communicators. They were quick and patient when answering all the little questions I had leading up to the last minute. Also very understanding when a small issue came about with catering.

The bridal suite was such a great space for all of the wedding party to be before and after the ceremony. Lots of space and super cute.

You don't have to pay extra for the furniture if you'd like a lounge space, which was a huge plus! Everybody was sitting on it and using that space during the reception.

They also gave us a sweet little gift. I won't ruin the surprise though! :)
