I've been going there for a few months and I'm very disappointed with this establishment. I was distracted a few times. The instructor literally yelled at me just for asking for more springs to be used because it was too light for me. In this Pilates, everyone is treated as if they had the same needs and physical conditions. There is no type of individual treatment. I think this is very bad, as we are in different ages and have different physical and training conditions. Last week, I informed the instructor (Sara) that the temperature in the studio was very high (72), I had felt very uncomfortable in the last class with this temperature, without oxygen. Very closed environment with lots of people. She replied that she would not change the temperature to please me and that I should then stay at the back of the room near the window. At the end of the class she told me not to come back to her classes again. I told her that she was technically wrong because with 35 years of practicing Yoga and Pilates, I have never seen a studio with a temperature above 70, in general it is 69 or even less. Except hot yoga! I complained to management, thinking they would understand me, but this did not happen. So I'm ending my contract. This place really isn't...
Read moreI debated posting this as I enjoy Pilates classes, but I would strongly discourage anyone from going forward with a membership. The entire time I was there it was very unprofessional. There were several issues that I found to be very shady and just the overall lack of care for members. The girl at the front desk was incredibly unhelpful and disinterested each time. Additionally I attempted to call and stop in and no one ever called me back. The last issue I had was I asked what I could do about possibly lowering my type of membership and was advised to freeze my membership and then could come back after since I was going to be traveling for most of a month. When I returned after having my pre planned schedule cancelled and not taking any classes in that time I was told I would have to still pay for that bill as well as my current bill to continue. I was not willing to pay for a month of classes I never took. The service is expensive and I recognize this, getting back to my health was something very important to me and very disappointed to see them not care at all about my situation or offer any help resolving the issue. They continue to do odd things that are misleading. Very unprofessionally run...
Read moreI would give 5 stars for Sarah’s classes, but the owner and another instructor have really led to negative experiences at this location repeatedly. Sarah is caring, patient, and encouraging. She makes you want to come back to class no matter your size/experience level/etc. Keep up the great work, Sarah!
I’m here share my feedback so you can improve for future. Please put service first… these classes, especially the passport program/unlimited membership is quite pricey (almost $300/mo.).
Also note: The team at the Mequon location is also super helpful...
