Perfect Milwaukee tour! Tried and true.

I chose Untapped Tours on TripAdvisor over the top-rated tour because I liked knowing that Mike, who had nothing but rave reviews, was the main (possibly the only) guide. A Milwaukee native, he’s extremely knowledgeable about the area, and the tour bus is his livelihood. And it’s a well-oiled machine - literally AND figuratively 😉. It’s a nice little bus with great visibility, and Mike knows what he’s doing, so it’s smooth sailing. I was nervous about the aforementioned tour as satisfaction of customers seemed to depend on which tour guide they happened to have that day. Mike is a Milwaukee native, so extremely knowledgeable about the area. He was friendly and funny without being over-the-top. He even drove us past his friend’s new “house” (it’s a mansion, really) and said that if his friend was home, we could go in! That was a fun and quirky little addition to the tour, even though, unfortunately for us, his friend was not home.

One of the best tours in Milwaukee and for sure the best tour guide ever! Mike was friendly and very knowledgeable. He of course had his route planned and told many things about each thing on said route. When asked questions about other things within Milwaukee he offered his expertise and gave his opinion as to where one could see and do the things being inquired about. The tour was not rushed and included a couple spots for people to get out and stretch their legs while looking at things highlighted on the tour. Was great that he included a brief stop at the market where one could even do a little shopping or grab a refreshment. I feel that i got more than my moneys worth on this tour and highly recommend anyone wanting to learn about the city and see some very interesting historical and fun spots to...

We had a great time! Mike (the owner) is incredibly responsive to email inquiries. His tour accommodated my 8-year old daughter. We were joined with a lovely group of four and had a great time. The pace of the tour was perfect; it was a nice mix of walking and bus touring with several short stops and two longer stops that included bathroom breaks. The final stop provided an opportunity to shop for lunch, a snack, or just coffee/drinks. The format was a nice mix of sightseeing, hearing historical facts, and sharing some light humor. This was the best use of two hours visiting a new city and I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Milwaukee for the first time.
