Ids Crystal Court — Local services in Minneapolis

Iconic building constructed in 1975 that is both a local landmark and universally bound to the identity (and skyline) of the city of Minneapolis, MN. 50 stories tall, and at dead-center of Minneapolis geographically. The IDS Center stands as an eternal icon of the city of Minneapolis, and a symbol of this city’s evolution from a sleepy Midwest town into one of America’s great civic centers of arts, theater, fine dining, superb healthcare, efficient governance, outstanding livability, abundant lakes and parks, and thriving communities of all races, sexual orientations, cultures...

I was NOT expecting such a beautiful center right outside my hotel! The courtyard is beautiful with plenty of benches and shops. Direct access to the Skyway and security everywhere... got everything done from shopping for clothes, to souvenirs, and even grabbed a cup of coffee and dessert. I didn’t even have time to see everything here, but I will definitely explore...

I like the way the Ids court is so modernise and airy with a tint of playfulness in the structural frame and view of the interior within the boxes of skylight.
