I am a teacher, and my hard drive failed. I assumed my school district was backing up our files, but--well as they say, never assume. Three years of developing and modifying lessons, collecting useful information and just organizing my teaching were suddenly gone. My district tech made a valiant attempt to recover the data, but to no avail. Not knowing what else to do, I asked the tech for my hard drive and said I would see if I could find someone who could get to the data. The tech gave me my drive with a pamphlet for E-man Data Recovery and said he heard they might be able to help. E-man did help. The drive needed serious work, but he recovered the data and he was super fair on the price. Got the job done. But the attitude every single time I went in was so off-putting. As if I was unwelcome and a burden. He then failed to lable all parts I gave to him and when I had someone pick up the computer he failed to give my charger back stating that he had fixed it in time before the battery went out as if he didn't have a charger. Overall, not a pleasant experience and I won't be going back. I don't appreciate being treated with disdain. The facility is also very unkempt and disorganized.
