My wife and I have been to this store 3 times now, the first time we browsed and the following day returned and purchased an outfit, skip ahead to 2 years later we are in the area and curious about making another purchase, we have our baby with us so we decide to not both go in and just me, so on my own I go inside and explain the situation to the worker my wife's in the car I can send her in to check if it's something we like and she can try it on, of whom seems very knowledgeable about her store and the selection of clothes they offer,I find something that I thought we would enjoy and ask if I can send my wife in to try it on and the store representative says because of covid guidelines they do not allow people to try stuff on, mind you this is weeks after the president states that the covid pandemic is over... so I take the workers word for it that it should fit, she tells me if the item does not fit properly we can bring it back and get an exchange. We get back to where we are staying she tries the piece on and due to poor manufacturing of the product it rips before she can even get it on, embarrassing my wife in the process, even though the representative promised it would fit well for my wife.. so the following day I call the store and they tell me that because the defective product is damaged they cannot return it, even though she claimed the day before they would. I would not recommend this store to anyone who is trying to purchase this type of clothing it's over priced comparably to online retailers for the same products. I used to tell my friends about this shop and send them to it however now I will tell people this story and stay as far away from this...
Read moreThere must be a lot of theft at this location, because it felt like the woman there was watching me the whole time. I offered my tote bag to be put by the register out of respect, and while I was looking around in the front it felt like i was being observed closely every time I went even slightly out of view for a moment.
When I went to the back room and walked by the register, she asked me to leave the items I had with her while I walked around. That isn’t too bad, but it felt like she was trying her hardest to prevent me from stealing (which I wasn’t🤨) and I felt less like a customer and more like a degenerate criminal. The security monitors were also behind the register, and I have the feeling she just sat and watched them while I shopped.
It was just a really awkward experience, especially considering I was the only other person in the building. Lover’s has cute products and I will keep going, but it’s also important to note it’s a lot of low quality material for...
Read moreMy husband and I were on our honeymoon and the front desk Employee followed us around nearly the whole time. This was our first experience in a store like this and felt like we weren’t given space to discuss anything privately. We must have been asked if we were “doing okay” 10 times. Each item we picked up the front desk gal had something to say about it. We felt rushed and when My husband finally found something he liked and brought it into the dressing room to show me and she stopped him saying “Excuse me you can’t try that on!!” as he was moving the curtain to hand me the outfit to look at. It genuinely felt like like we were doing something wrong at each turn. We finally just left feeling frustrated and mildly humiliated. This was an awful first...
