the whole staff is always respectful... I felt like I had to do this review for them because of an angry Karen... I go to the staples regularly for my mail with iPostal... when I came in a lot yelling and getting to close to the staples workers personal space... Karen was yelling at the two staples staff who where trying to help her and defuse her rage... she want her refund of her purchase without a receipt... Karen was yelling pullout the calculator and type 7.99 + NJ state tax and that is how much she is own... but she was a broken record and repeated it several times with stopping while each time she step closer and closer to the employee who was next to her... until he was uncomfortable and left to a other spot to get away from her... both employee hold their ground and repeatedly asked you wanted to reprint the receipt so they can do the return for her... but Karen didn't listen and kept cutting them off and said I want my refund... and Karen demanded to borrow the stores tape measure to measure something in her car... and they 2 employees where tie up because of her yelling and hostility where they can't help or the customer behind me because her stupidity and rage... I told the customer behind me to go first and than I go after her so the other customer and I could get out there before she returns... the Karen should be ashamed of herself... but when she return she was just as aggressive too... the whole staff working today that had to deal or listen to her should get a pat on the back or something else because people like her are the real I will avoid Retail... the Karen should be trespassed for wasting the staples staff time and disturbing the customers who are just there picking up mail or shopping... this happen Sunday March 23, 2025 4pm to 5pm I was so shocked at Karen I forgot the time... It may have been after 5pm... sum up the staff was trying to help her professionally and kindly but she was rude and aggressively yelling at them and not listening to them trying to help her even through she was crazy and rude... the staff deserves recognition for keeping cool under her...
Read moreI have to be honest and say I ended up having a frustrating time buying a printer from this store. I was immediately greeted by an employee while I was looking at printers. I told him what I wanted and he immediately recommended the Brother HL-L2320D. He said it could print wirelessly or with the cable and it would do what I needed. He was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable so I went with his suggestion. But, when I got the printer home I realized that #1 - I needed to buy an additional USB cord to connect the printer to any computer, and #2 - it was NOT a wireless printer. Shame on me for not reading the box, but since he seemed so confident in the suggestion, like he'd suggested it many times before, I just went with it. So I had to waste another 45 min going back out to buy the correct cable (that it says on the box its a required additional purchase in small print). In the end, it didn't save me any time on this particular day, which was what I needed.
That being said, he was a friendly employee and I believe this was likely an honest mistake, but employees shouldn't act like experts if they aren't. He shouldn't send me out the door feeling confident without telling me (or knowing) that I will need an extra cable.
He did price match some ink for me, so that was nice. I'd recommend going here but make sure you don't just trust what...

I replied, “NO and YES”
Austin then says, “Let me help make both of those answers yes.”
Can I just say, that I have never met anyone with such patience, knowledge, and passion for their job? Austin made sure both of my answers were yes before I left Staples today. I was able to find the perfect office chair to fill my needs and fit perfectly for me. Not once did Austin rush me nor did he look bothered. He appeared to listen to all my needs and concerns and met each of them. Austin also offered me their 5 year warranty and the assembly package (which I purchased) I am a satisfied customer and will be visiting regularly due to this experience. Staples, we need more of Austin at your store. It's not about quantity, it's about quality, and Austin showed quality customer...
