The Ryman itself and the tour are amazing! The staff that work inside the Ryman with the tours are very polite and friendly. The only complaint i have is one of the staff members in the Rymam gift shop wasn't very polite or friendly. She rushed us along to pay and then when I mentioned that we needed to pick up our souvenir Rymam photo, she just very rudely told us they were on the wall. Ok.. well I have never toured the ryman or got a photo so, I guess I was just supposed to already know where to get it. Then after that she quickly turned to another person working in the shop to ask him about her vacation days! Okkk guess that was more important. I say if you dont want to deal with tourists or anyone shopping, then its probably time for another job. The rich, wonderful history of the Ryman is something to be celebrated and admired and if you dont care about the Ryman and think of it as "just a job" then, not sure what to tell you other than you need...
