Big Time Boots — Local services in Nashville-Davidson

I stumbled upon Big Time Boots while in Nashville in December 2012. From the outside I didn't expect much. But after going in and seeing their two floors of boots I was impressed. They had almost every brand of better-quality boots available.

I was looking for Lucchese boots (specifically caiman) and helped by a young lady who was very knowledgeable and actually wearing a pair of Luccheses herself. She was incredibly nice and spent a great deal of time with me trying to find the exact boot I was looking for. Even though I knew my size, she stopped the restocking she was doing to come over and confirm the fit was right. A young man working had just purchases a pair of the caiman boots and gave me some pointers on what to expect when breaking them in. Big Time Boots discounted the boots considerably, making them incredibly competitively priced. This is my third pair of Lucchese boots and I can only say I wish I'd found this store earlier to purchase my other pairs there. None of the other places I've purchased discounted the boots as much - I would have saved hundreds by buying with them. By the way, they have hats and accessories, too.

In short, the service was great. Both employees were nice, helpful, knowledgeable and even recommended a few of the honky-tonks to go to nearby when I asked which had the best music. I have only one thing bad to say about Big Time Boots: They have no website. I wish they did, but in the future I will call them to see if they have the boots I want and have them ship to me rather than shopping...

I stroll into the boot emporium, lost in a labyrinth of leather, when suddenly, an angelic savant of leather comes to my aid. With shoulders as defined as boulders and a smile as radiant as the Tennessee sun, he strides over, his boots clacking a melody of salvation against the wood floor.

With a drawl smoother than aged bourbon, he sizes me up quicker than a coyote chasing a roadrunner.

And so begins the journey. With the wisdom of a thousand ranchers and the finesse of a seasoned hunter, he guides me through the maze of boots, regaling me with tales of where each boot came from.

With each pair he presents, he spins yarns so captivating, I forget I'm even shopping for boots. But fear not, for he's not just a storyteller - he's a boot-fitting virtuoso! With hands as strong as a summer wind, he ensures every stitch and sole is snug as a bug in a rug.

And lo and behold, we find it - the perfect pair of boots. I feel a surge of cowboy confidence coursing through my veins, as if this cowboy had found me a pair that had just been knighted by the rodeo gods themselves.

So here's to you Peyton Foriest - May your spurs always jingle, your biceps always be huge, and your boot-fitting prowess never go unnoticed. Ride on, good sir, and may your legend grow bigger than...

I was in Nashville about a month ago, stopped in here before a nice dinner of course just to look (I thought I had enough boots) we know that’s never the case. Lindsey was INCREDIBLE! I was looking for Justin boots, we asked and someone directed us upstairs. There we met Lindsey who was helpful from the get go. After looking and asking a few questions I saw the beauties I didn’t know I needed, a pair of gorgeous Stetsons. Lindsey mentioned that area was 30%, so I of course grabbed the boots. Tried putting them on, and they were incredibly tight, so Lindsey to the rescue again with her boot tricks and I was hooked. Literally could not get out of the boot, so again Lindsey to the rescue. She helped get the boots off. We asked if we could hold the boots there so I didn’t have to carry them all evening while out, she said we could ship them. Amazing! The tax is cheaper where I live. Needless to say Lindsey was absolutely amazing and so so helpful. Next time in Nashville I will absolutely be stopping to see if she can help me spend more money on some beautiful boots! Somebody get that girl...
