The "Bourbon Bandits" visited Southern Collective Spirit Company 3-25-2023 to celebrate the upcoming wedding of our youngest member, Brooks! The Bandits have been together for many years experiencing many great bourbons and many great venues! The minute we walked into Southern Collective, we looked at each other with smirky grins, knowing we were in for the experience of a lifetime! Bernie badass, "the boss of the place", greeted us when we walked in and gave us the office dog approval to stay! If nothing else, go visit Bernie, the office mascot! The bourbon knowledge and the ability to make you feel like part of the family is the "something special" you get from all the experts at Southern Collective! We started by tasting many different bourbons, all with excellent profiles! IT was now time to select Brooks' favorite single barrel pick and have it bottled into his very own "barrel pick"! Pouring a sample using the whiskey thief was awesome and sampling various single barrel pours, straight from the barrel, is something you won't get from the ordinary distillery tour! A few hours at Southern Collective and the Bourbon Bandits experienced a new level in their bourbon journey! My recent visit to Southern Collective Spirit Company was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were warmly greeted and made to feel right at home. The experience that Southern Collective provides is AWESOME!! Honestly, one of the best experiences of my life! Ryan was amazing. I had my bachelor party in Nashville last week, and I’m big into whiskey, but not all of the members of my group are. We were also paired with a few other couples on the tour, and the way Ryan was able to personalize the tour, not only for each group, but for EACH INDIVIDUAL person, was astonishing!! I’ve never had a tour with a better guide than Ryan. He found out what each person liked, and allowed each person to taste something from barrels that would appeal to them. His knowledge about whiskey, and spirits in general, spoke volumes. In my next trip to Nashville, Southern Collective will definitely be on my itinerary, and I’d recommend anyone that visits Nashville to stop by here. I was able to bring back a bottle of whiskey - UNFILTERED, straight from the barrel, and name it myself, AND tequila from my trip. I cannot express enough gratitude for the team at Southern Collective. Also, besides the service, the spirits also, are outstanding!!!
