I have been wanting to write a review for Broadstone within months of me moving in but I realized it wouldn’t do me any good. Now that I have moved out and I have received my deposit back I know there will be no repercussions for what I am going to say. I moved in to Broadstone April 2023 and moved out June 2024. Within weeks of me moving in, I was ready to move out. It is extremely loud, from the upstairs neighbor, from the hallway to the constant firetrucks and party busses. I know that the outside noise is not anything that can be controlled but the inside is. The walls and ceilings, are thin. I complained so many times because the noise was about to drive me insane. I could hear footsteps( stomping, running), the dog chasing its ball through the apartment, and even suitcases rolling down the apartment more times than I can count but nothing was ever done. Their “security” officers are cops but they do nothing for helping you feel as if your concerns are valid because they are cops. They have better things to do than to listen to my call about a loud upstairs neighbor. The gates to the garage broke several times, they were broken into and even cars were broken into. The elevators are standard elevators, there are no freight elevators for large items to move into the building so when I bought a couch, it had to be returned because it couldn’t fit. When I first moved in, the hallways and shared areas were cleaned properly, then I noticed the lady that was originally doing it was no longer there and then it started to be more disgusting. The hall way carpets were not swept, the trash shoots were nasty. I found a used needle on the ground in the trash shoot. People would leave garbage sitting out in the hallways, Broadstone would state they would charge for the trash out but that didn’t stop people. For the price of rent, this place is not worth it. Also, I was told that my deposit was sent on out July 11th, it’s July 18th and still have not received the check in the mail. So if I wouldn’t have gotten a virtual way to receive my money back, I wouldn’t have gotten it back within 30 days of my lease ending. I will say the pool and sky deck are nice and Tom the maintenance...
Read moreBLACK PEOPLE BEWARE! These apartments are extremely racist. While attempting to enter the door code I was stopped at the door by two very passive aggressive white women that informed me that I could not enter the building even though I showed them that I had a entry code and was only there to take groceries up to my sick sister’s apartment. She then informed me that the only way I would be able to enter the building is if I left my drivers license as if I didn’t tell her that my sibling lived in the apartment. I also forgot to mention that she said that I needed to leave my ID because I asked for a cart to put the groceries on to take them to the eighth floor. When I asked her why I would need to leave my ID for that she said that people steal the carts. (assuming i would steal a cart) But back to this bad experience with these women! After all of that, I was followed to my car by another white woman that said she would have to escort me to the apartment & at that point I informed them that because they felt they had to monitor my every move in these apartments she would have to take the groceries up herself. I proceeded to put the groceries on the cart & let her take them up herself. If you are a minority planning to move into these apartments PLEASE RECONSIDER. They don’t want us here & by the actions of those two women it is very OBVIOUS. I was treated like a suspected criminal for trying to take groceries to my sister....
Read moreI’ve lived at Broadstone SoBro for about 2.5 years and have really enjoyed my time here. I’ve lived in two different layouts, both well-designed and comfortable. The size of the building is perfect — not too overwhelming, and I never have to wait on the elevators, which was a constant issue at larger apartment complexes I’ve lived in around the city.
The property is always clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully managed. Small but meaningful details like having a Dolly cart for move-ins or large packages, and offering guest parking during long weekends, really set this place apart — you won’t find those kinds of perks at most buildings in Nashville.
The staff is excellent. Tom C. has been here through multiple management teams and always delivers fast, reliable service. He keeps everything running smoothly. Sarah and Nadia made my recent transition super easy, and Emir, and Trinity have also been great at keeping operations steady and professional. The leasing team also hosts occasional resident events, which is a nice bonus.
I also ended up getting a puppy during my time here, and it’s been a great dog-friendly community. Everyone’s been kind and helpful, and Gus (my puppy) approves too.
