I've been going to 10 Piece Nails for over a year now and if you are a nail girl you need to book an appointment here!! Not only do they specialize in nail design/art for both short and long nails, but they also emphasize nail health and manicure quality. I usually see Serena, but all of the techs there do amazing work and will collaborate with you to get you your dream set :3 If you come in with an inspiration picture or color palette Serena is able to remix the image onto your nails and will regularly check in with you to ensure you like the colors, the shape, the design, the charms, the everything!! And if sometime after the appointment a charm falls off or nail gets snagged (which is pretty rare) you are able to go in and get it fixed for free :) I think it's also worth noting that the pricing and appointment length are quite fair for what you're getting - it's not very easy to find an apres gel-x nail shop with this many talented artists! I followed Becca from her previous spot (I'd been seeing her a year at the last joint), which is telling about what Becca is capable of: ALWAYS willing to humor my color, chrome, charm, gem, and sticker selections I like to purchase on my own, bringing everything from my neon gummy bears to red cat eye armor sets into reality. Long or short, inspo off any platform, or an idea pulled from a Paper Mag spread: Becca has made it work for me. Simon Simon Simon: he’s something else. My first appointment I came in and had a set on from a previous nail tech and it was fiercely difficult to remove but Simon said you know what I will NOT be stopped. That’s when I knew, he’s just as crazy as me! I love it here. I come to Simon with no inspo just words and he goes to the basement and comes back floating with inspiration and joy.
