7-Eleven — Local services in New York

I've gone to this 7 Eleven twice. Bad experience both times. The first time on a weekday at 6:30 p.m., the guys behind the counter were too busy leaning back and talking to each other to be attentive to customers. Then, one of them started messing with his phone and ignored the customers altogether. Last night, I decided to give them another try. Went back there, same time of day. The manager was in an argument with someone. The manager them tells the person, "I don't want black people in my store!" I couldn't believe he said that until I looked around and saw that he may felt comfortable saying it because although the guy he was arguing with was black, his other customers didn't look to be black. I'm a light- skinned black man. Maybe he assumed I wasn't black. Maybe he didn't see me waiting at the lotto counter. Either way, I approached him about it and he tried to tell me he didn't say it. I clearly heard him. I stood right there as he argued with the guy. Anyway, I left the store without buying any lotto. The manager was calling to me to come back so he can explain. I'll be sure to tell my coworkers about this store. To the 7 Eleven owner, please take these complaints seriously. EVERY SINGLE NIGHT on my walk to Penn Station, I pass this “24/7” 7-Eleven location and every night the cashier yells from the register they are closed, that’s if the doors aren’t already locked as they watch you pull on the door handle then proceed to ignore you.
