Foot Locker — Local services in New York

Entered the store at around 6:25 pm wanting to buy a pair of New Balances. So this employee approaches us and offers help. We request the shoes on specific size and the he goes and asks another employee to find them. He starts walking around and we waited like 15-18mins for the shoes to be given to us. He approaches us again and says that "they're looking for them". We wait another 10-15 minutes and the shoes still are nowhere to be seen. 5 minutes later, we see the same employee just walking out the store after taking off his uniform. Seems like his shift ended or something cuz he just didn't care anymore if we got the shoes or not. When he sees that we were looking at him he just plain says "they ain't got the size", keeps walking and just leaves, not giving a single crap. We went again and ask a girl for the size. They did, indeed, have the size. And it only took the girl like 4 minutes to get the shoes. I'm leaving more than 1 star just because the girls were very nice and welcoming (except that lying employee guy who I don't know his name, but he was African American and has a tattoo on his right leg). Mamadou, also known as "Mo", was incredibly helpful in measuring my son's feet and finding the perfect shoe size. He guided us in selecting the right sneakers with great care. Brian, or "OB," was friendly and attentive, ensuring that my family was well taken care of throughout our visit.

Tiana was also fantastic; she provided my son with puzzles and coloring sheets to keep him entertained while we waited. At the register Mia assisted us with kindness and efficiency. Katelyn was a true sweetheart, making my son feel comfortable and even walking us downstairs at his request.

Staff is friendly and the selection is the best in the city for Foot Locker. - update. I just bought some shoes on Saturday and there was no one available to check me out so I was walked over to another area of store where a female who was pulled to check me out handled it and complained the whole time to the other person how she wanted to help her customers. she never gave me a reciept either. I called today and no one answers during business hours. Eventually after signing and ringing, it says, no one is available, good bye. Try it...call them, press 4, then wait and they hang up on you. There's no one managing this place, it's a circus, mad house and employees who don't care. Foot Locker is so behind the times with their customer service, it's a waste of time trying to get help. I will never spend another dime with this retailer. We need more sneaker shops that actually are not part of an evil system to f you over. It's no wonder your rating on BBB is so low.
