If youâre hunting for a place where the spotlight is firmly on singing your heart out, 9 Plus KTV hits the right notes. From the moment we got there, it was clear: this place is built for karaoke lovers. The song selection is impressive whether youâre into Mandopop, K-pop, throwback R&B, English classics, or indie ballads, youâll find something to belt. The system is fast, easy to use, and the mics are surprisingly solid no annoying glitches or cutouts mid-verse.
The rooms are comfortable and soundproofed well, so you can really let loose without feeling like the next room is judging your vocal runs. You can control the lights, queue songs easily, and it feels like your own private concert space.
Now, about the food ,itâs not the main event here. Itâs passable and gets the job done. Think bar snacks, fried bites, and comfort foods. You wonât rave about it, but you wonât go hungry either. A nice bonus is that some food items can be deducted from your credits, which helps a bit with cost. Just keep in mind the menu overall is a bit pricey, especially the drinks, so itâs something to be aware of if youâre coming in a group.
Overall, itâs a fun, lively place to hang out with friends and sing for hours. The vibes are great, the music catalog is stacked, and even if the foodâs not the highlight, the experience itself is...
Read moreMe and my family went their for my sister's birthday around 15 people in the pool table, we went a few days prior to the day and they told us that the amount we pay is how much money we have for the food, for example we payed $200 we'd have that much money to spend on the food and obviously the extra amount we would have to pay. Turns out the day we went their after 4 hours of having fun they made a birthday surprise and told us that we heard wrong and that the room was free and all the food had to be payed, that the amount we had was not used for the food. Spoiler alert: we payed around $600 extra. Come at your own risk.
Edit to the owner: Well what you guys told us was clearly not what your employee told us, what your employee told us and what you guys did afterwards was totally different. And you're telling me that we didn't pay attention when we clearly asked your employee 4-5 different times (days prior to the event) about what the payment was and in all of those times she told us what I clearly stated above. Moreover, you guys didn't even apply the money that we spent on the rooms on the food? Seems very funny that you said we didn't pay attention when you guys didn't keep your word. Be mindful whoever is thinking about going to this place,...
Read moreCelebrated my birthday here on a Saturday night and had a blast. Communication was okay, the staff mostly speaks Chinese but I still managed to book over the phone without any issues. Paid extra to have them set up birthday decorations, which looked awesome!
Booked a luxury room, which has its own private bathroom, so that was a plus. Plenty of space for 20 people.
Service was good, I have no complaints there. You just ring the bell and someone would come very quickly.
It was a little pricey I guess (I donât have much experience with ktv places so I canât really compare for sure) but I expected that, since it was a Saturday night. But we had the room from 10pm - 4am, so I felt like the minimum spend was alright honestly.
The actual karaoke system was a little tough to figure out at first, since itâs not in English. But itâs nothing google translate couldnât handle đ And you just have to find the artist or song title by typing in the initials (e.g. Ariana Grande, just type AG; Drops of Jupiter, type DOJ). Once we figured that out, it was pretty manageable to find songs. And even though they try to warn you that they donât have many English songs, I felt like there was a pretty good selection and...
