I didn’t have a good experience with this breeder while I was looking for a puppy last summer. Communication was terrible and she was rude. I was to get the puppy mid Aug and had not received a single picture of the puppy even thou I wanted one until I contacted her again end of July/ beginning of Aug to say it was ridiculous that I hadn’t received even 1 picture of the puppy and was supposed to be getting her in a couple of weeks. I ended up deciding to lose my deposit and go with another breeder who had sent me pictures from day 1 and all the progress reports from vet visits, her first grooming, first walk, potty and crate training and my puppy interaction with her siblings and breeders. I avoided pet shops because I wanted to avoid puppy mills and make sure my puppy starts life in a loving environment. With this breeder didn’t get any progress report or any idea of what environment and conditions the puppy was growing up in and that didn’t make me comfortable. The message I also got is that this is a part time job as she already has a job and had no time to communicate with me. Not sure how much time is put into her puppy business. During early stages I was also in contact with another breeder that was extremely helpful and sent me lots of pictures and told me all the information about what she did with her puppy’s for their development and the potty training process and crate training. Got nothing what so ever from this breeder felt like I was a nuisance whenever I contacted her. When the litter arrived and I asked for a picture she said she doesn’t send pictures out until the puppy is 6-8wks because it looks different at birth with not much fur but this was not an issue for me. My experience with this breeder was not a pleasant one and a very frustrating process. I am happy with the puppy I ended up getting which was also on the cheaper side. Bella is almost 1 year and the best decision!

Total scam, 100%! They don’t answer calls and refuse to provide a clear address. We drove for an hour to Queens only to end up waiting in a Target parking lot for 30 minutes. Despite confirming a specific time in advance - and notifying them again when we were on our way - they completely ignored our calls during that entire time. It was already suspicious that we weren’t meeting at their actual property, but instead at a random shopping mall parking lot. Eventually, we decided to leave. Ten minutes later, they suddenly started calling and texting, sending photos of poor puppies stuffed into a shopping basket. It was awful - and I genuinely feel bad for those dogs. They demand cash, their prices are inflated, and they show zero respect for potential buyers. This operation should be reported. Avoid them at all costs.

We had an amazing experience with Bella’s Red Toy Poodles! We live in Manhattan and coming to visit our beautiful puppy Ruby was super convenient. The breeders have an amazing facility where our labradoodle Rocky could meet the puppies. It is clear that Bella’s Poodles are the best breeders in the area with the highest standards. I recommend them to anyone looking for a top quality red toy poodle. Thank you for Ruby, our family is complete!

I got a toy poodle from Bella’s toy poodle 2+ years ago and have the best quality red toy poodle. My parents have now also went to Bella’s toy poodle to get their dog.

To address some of the concerns in the comments:

they ask you to meet in the mall because they live in the apartment building above the mall. Once you meet they will escort you to their rooftop to play with the puppies. They don’t provide pictures of their dogs without meeting you because they do not want people using pictures of their dogs to sell other dogs. If you make and appointment to see their dogs you can see the puppies and the parents. The price is high but you are paying for a top quality pure bred red toy poodle. I can confirm this is much cuter and a better temperament than a dog you would get in a pet shop or from a larger breeder. You definitely get what you pay for, this is a member of your family and worth...
