CVS Pharmacy — Local services in New York

AVOID THIS CVS LOCATION - CVS management have done a terrible job opening this new location. The published hours and Google hours seem to differ from actual operating hours; I stopped by the new store three times before finally finding it open. When I did find the store open, none of the items on my shopping list were in stock, and many shelves had empty space behind product labels, indicating poor stocking practices. There seemed to be only one employee working the entire store at the time of my visit, there was no one available to assist at the cash register, most of the store is locked within security cases, and being understaffed it is difficult to find assistance to gain access to locked items. I had to walk around the store to find the single employee to ask for assistance only to be told nothing I needed was in stock. This store was a waste of my time and an embarrassment to...

Brand new CVS opened June 2024. They're still working out some kinks and the staff is a little green but it has all the elements of a CVS, cards, pharmacy, convenience store items, and long receipts. There is no godawful beep when you enter line the one on 96th and Amsterdam and hopefully they won't add it.

This pharmacy is not ready for prime time. On multiple occasions they have rejected prescriptions for no good reason. They force you to go there in person to instruct them how to read a prescription. Without ever admitting they were wrong they finally agree to fill it. Never again! Avoid...
