It’s not everyday you receive HORRIBLE customer service. Today I went to pick up 2 prescriptions, the pharmacy was empty and the pharmacy technician SHAWN ignored me standing right in front of her for over 5 minutes, she was on her phone and even answered the store phone in front of me as if I wasn’t even a human being. She then angrily asked me what I was there for and then began ringing my items up with such an attitude that she broke the bag she was putting my items in. I then explained that I had a pass for one of my prescriptions, she did not like that. She demanded I hand her my phone, I did. She then proceeded to scan the pass for the wrong prescription. I told her I should only be paying for one because the order was prepaid. She claimed I told her it was for the wrong medication, I did not. I asked her politely to just void the transaction and redo it so I wasn’t double charged, she screamed at me that she wouldn’t and claimed it wasn’t a big deal because I’d get the money I prepaid for the pass back whenever it expired. I told her I didn’t want to do that, she said she was not going to void it and didn’t understand why it was a big deal. To be double charged for prescriptions IS a big deal. Worse than that was her rude attitude over all. She acted as if me picking up my medication was ruining her day. I’ve used Walgreens my whole life and never experienced this type of treatment. Read moreAs a former employee of Walgreens, I’ve been using them for decades to fill my prescriptions. I felt a sense of loyalty that, due to problem after problem, has frayed beyond repair. Today, I am downloading Capsule and starting anew.
Every single time I have filled a prescription at this location, there has been an issue. Every time. Today’s was the straw that broke the old camel’s back. I arrived at one of their least busy times, only to wait an excessively long time in line. This is usual and expected. I gave my name to pick up prescriptions I had called in the day before. Their automated system has seldom worked for me, so yesterday I was on the phone for the better part of half an hour, just to fill the prescriptions. Alas! Nothing is ready when I get to the counter, after I had spoken to an actual person the day before.
In isolation, this may seem trivial to some, but it is just another example of the problems I’ve faced every time I’ve tried to use this pharmacy. Now, I am waiting again, with no apology. Just treated as a nuisance and put to the back of the...
Read moreThe pharmacist Jasmine Lung is very unprofessional and must be inexperienced or untrained because she is unaware of the NYS prescribing laws. You’re allowed to fill narcotics 1 day early but she refused, trying to lie to me saying it was illegal even though anyone can fact check that immediately. The week before I came in to confirm I can fill it a day early, because I was going on vacation when it was due, that pharmacist said it wouldn’t be a problem.
Obviously all of this got me frustrated because I was going to have to cancel my whole trip over her. And her response to me pressing the issue was to call my doctor and make up lies saying I was in some kind of drug fueled rampage demanding pills.
So anyone on narcotics should never ever go here because this pharmacist can really mess up your whole life. That false accusation caused me to loose my doctor and now I might loose my job because I don’t think I’ll be able to function in this much pain.
