Escape is a down-to-earth, clean and friendly place to get your nails done! I live around the block and have tried several spots nearby, that still aren’t able to compete with Emilia and Nicoletta’s extraordinary service and attention to detail. They were friendly and professional. I walked in on a Friday morning and they were able to help me right away- I needed a simple mani-pedi as well as an acrylic nail to fix my left big toe, in time for a wedding that weekend. Knowing that I only had an hour, Emilia and Nicoletta set to work on my feet and hands at the same time to manage according to my schedule, yet they did not make me feel rushed. They were attentive to details and sprinkled some friendly light conversation between peaceful moments of quiet as they worked and it was a pleasant experience. I will definitely be going back. The BEST experience! My friend and I needed a mani/pedi last minute while visiting NYC. It was located near the Thompson hotel, was able to take us right away and had good reviews. They could not have been nicer! It’s a small place- very quiet and relaxing. They spent so much time on us! Very detailed-honestly one of the best gel mani/pedi experIences we have ever had! Being an RN, I am very concerned about cleanliness-they used one time use pedi soak liners, nail files, and sterilized tools. They had high quality products. The foot and leg massage was amazing! My granddaughter and I visited this absolutely lovely little nail and skincare salon in New York City yesterday—recommended by the concierge at our hotel—and I have to say, it was such a wonderful surprise!

The owner, Emilia, was incredibly kind and welcoming. She went out of her way to make my granddaughter feel comfortable, chatting with her about her pink hair and what a great kid she is and making the whole experience feel so personal. The atmosphere was calm, elegant, and relaxing—everything you’d hope for in a salon visit.
