I would never give them a penny of my money again. I spend about 10k a year on Davidoff cigars and I will not ever buy one again. I visited the store Saturday around noon. The door was locked and my wife and I stood there for a few moments. Nobody in the store. Finally a man opens the door and says we keep it locked for our safety. Ok fine. I ask if the lounge is open and the man RUDELY says that it is $100 per person per day now to use the lounge, even if you purchase cigars. He rudely rambles on (while staring out the window not even looking us in the face) about how this policy is 8 months old and they are not Starbucks where you can come here and sit all day. Or you cannot buy a $10 cigar and nurse it all day and expect to use their lounge. He rambled more saying if we want a place cheaper go to Carnegie club they open at 2 and their cutting fee is $15. Who said anything about that??? Beyond rude, I guess because it’s -5 degrees out today and my wife and I have on sweats that he thought we couldn’t afford his cigars or be privy to his lounge which I also must add was completely empty. If you’re so worried about people abusing your lounge maybe stop selling $10 cigars but $100 per person plus cigars is absolute robbery. Not just robbery but the black guy who was working should be fired and get a lesson in...
Read moreI will never return to this location ever again. I've been to every other Davidoff locations in nyc and have had great experiences but this location is by far and away the worst customer service by far. I walked in and was about to purchase two cigars and sit down with a friend and then a random person walks in 5 minutes after us and all of a sudden they didn't have two seats available clearly and obviously favoring another patron instead of respecting first come and first serve. Completely disrespectful. Just be honest and say you favor regulars or whatever instead of blatantly lying and looking like complete clowns. Just a low class place with low class employees that are bringing down the quality of what Davidoff stands for. Unless you're a regular I would stay far away from this place! Zero stars. Biased and couldn't spell...
Read moreI went to this particular store and was immediately told that these were high priced cigars, what the salesman didn't know was that I had been waiting 5 months to visit this particular Davidoff location since I had previously shopped at Brookfield in November and had a wonderful experience. Cigars for me is an experience since I have been smoking for about 15 years and smoke with experienced people weekly. I was so unimpressed thar I didn't even get my 1926 and 1964 after being told the inexpensive Cigars were located in the back of the store. Not sure why I was treated this way especially since there were some $40 sticks I'm that area. My Father, Padron, etc which I happen to think are really good smokes. In the future try not to judge a book by its cover. Thanks for listening. Maybe he was just...
