It’s taken me months to write this review, but they need to know how completely unprofessional their service was. When I first moved here, it took me a while to finally find someone that did nails well. When I found the place, I loved it. Loved the location, the staff, and they always did my nails really well and provided good service. Around the holiday time, I had a work Christmas dinner at around 5pm one day, and called JN a week ahead to schedule an 11am appointment. I always call ahead to make appointments because I know how busy they get. The night before, they texted me asking if I could come in at 12:30pm instead, which I told them I was okay with as long as I was done before 4pm, since my dinner was also in ktown. I said this because while they are good at what they do, you will be there for HOURS, not just 1-2, but 3 to almost 4 hours for their services, which I knew and planned ahead. I get there at 12:30, they say they’re busy and I have to wait, and I don’t get started till around 3-3:30. This was ONLY for a dip manicure btw, with French tips. I expected maybe 3 hours tops. They offered me a massage while I waited, which I still payed for by the way, and once we finally got started, they kept stopping the work on me to work on other people that simply walked in. It hit 5pm, I was already 5 mins late to my work dinner, and they told me I could come back after it was done so they could finish. Yes, I’m laughing at how ridiculous this is too. I came back between 7pm-7:30, they still had me wait for 30mins, and finally finished at 9pm. I have not been there since. I tried to ignore how long there services took, how a simple dip manicure can be over 3 hours when every other place I’ve been is only an hour tops, because of how good the quality of the manicure was. But I cannot let them get away with this. Got there at 12:30pm and services were done at 9pm. Only left for dinner for around 2 hours. Also, one of the staff there is very rude, has had a horrible attitude since the moment I set foot there, wish I could remember her name. The other one is actually friendly, which is why this situation still...
Read moreVery unprofessional and rude staff Please! don’t open the reservation spot if you are unavailable. It’s the rack of the reservation system. Also, you better say something nice to your customer even though they are just getting Gel Nail Removal service.
MY UPDATED REVIEW: I appreciate the response from the owner, but I feel the need to clarify some misconceptions. It's important to note that I made a reservation through your online system, which I presumed was open and functioning properly. If the system requires a secondary confirmation, this should be made clear and easy to understand. As for the alleged 'shouting' and 'yelling,' I believe there's a misunderstanding. The reception I received from one of your staff members, an Asian woman, was anything but welcoming. She approached me with an aggressive tone, her expressions were unfriendly, and the manner in which she spoke to me was unprofessional. It's important to recognize that the tone set by the service provider often dictates the client's response. I felt cornered and disrespected, which may have led to an escalation in the situation. In any service industry, it's crucial to maintain a level of respect and politeness towards customers, irrespective of the service they opt for. As a customer, I was hoping for a peaceful, enjoyable visit, not a confrontational one. I hope this feedback encourages Jn nail bar to reconsider its customer service approach and improve its online booking system's clarity. At the end of the day, all any customer wants is a pleasant experience and professional service. It's unfortunate that this was not my experience on...
Read moreIt’s a very hurtful experience…no customer service, no respect, stigmatize clients. I completely agree with one of the one star comments said that the staff are totally bullies. One staff is really rude, disrespectful and ignorant. When she was doing my manicure, the hard gel unevenly flowed to the sides. She were staring at me and told me ten times that I put my fingers too far away from the light. While I have 10 years manicure experience and I do my nails every other month, I know that I confirmed my nails were covered by the light. Although its not my fault, I said oh I didn’t know, what can I do…She kept telling me that I should have put my fingers deeper. I knew that she was blaming me because she has to redo it. I got upset cuz you are supposed to fix it for me rather than giving me an attitude. When we were arguing about the nails, she started to switch the topic and said that I looked down them as nail technicians… so I questioned “how can you say that? You should clarify what did I say, how did I act. You have to say something with basic evidence and proof, right?” She responded that she just felt it. Girl, I felt that you looked down me cuz you never respect me!! In the end, no apologize, no resolution, my nails got ground twice and are still bald, and I paid 40 dollars for removing previous nails. I will never ever come back to this nail salon. Stay away...
