I went online to schedule a virtual consultation at 1030 on May 30, 2024 at the Williamsburg location. I received an email and a text message with a GOOGLE chat link. I was given the option to conduct the consult via phone with no video. At around 1030, I received a phone call from Melissa Gonzalez. I informed her that I wanted a small tattoo behind my right ear removed. She asked me basic pedigree information and asked why I wanted it removed. She asked me to send her a photo while we were on the phone. I sent her the photo. She then provided me a quote, which she stated was the Memorial Day special and a discount for being a first responder. She tells me I can pay the full amount or enroll in a payment plan. I informed her that I would pay in full at the appointment. She told me she had an appointment for 1300 on May 31, 2024. I confirm the appointment time. She sends me a link to fill out the paperwork. The paperwork requests my Name, DOB, address, and e-mail, and then the next page is an in-depth medical history questionnaire asking you everything about medications, illnesses, medical conditions, and prior surgeries. I answered every question, e-signed it, and sent it back. Melissa stayed on the phone with me the entire time I filled out the application. When I completed and submitted it, she said that I would receive an FT link to speak with the Nurse practitioner.
A few minutes later, I received an FT Telemedicine call from Allison Jaggard, NP. The call was very brief. She asked me about allergies to medication and a prior surgical procedure. When we concluded the call, I sent Melissa a message asking if I was confirmed for the appointment. She responded that I wasn't and said she would call me when she was done with a patient. She calls me back, and I ask how the appointment went. Afterwards I again ask her if I am confirmed for May 31. She tells me that I have to PAY IN FULL BEFORE I CAN SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT! I never had a face-to-face meeting, never went to the office, and never met with anyone in the office, and she told me that appointments are only scheduled AFTER payment is received in full. So they expect someone to send them 800 dollars without even having a face-to-face meeting. At any point during the conversation, she could have informed me that payment was required beforehand, and SHE DID NOT!
I messaged Melissa that I would NOT be scheduling an appointment. I asked her to delete my personal information and medical history, and she responded, "It is illegal for us to delete that information. It will not be used for anything besides your history shall you decide to have treatment."
I called another laser removal place and asked if I had to make a payment upfront. The response was, "Why would we ask you for a payment, and we haven't even physically seen you to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUPDATE** MONTHS LATER AND STILL NO RESOLUTION OR RESPONSE TO MY NO-RESULTS LASER HAIR REMOVAL SESSIONS SPENDING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM AND ONLY WANTS YOUR MONEY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR RESULTS.
Iāll try to make this review as unbiased as possible and only provide facts because I genuinely want to save everyone and anyone 4k and year of frustration like I experienced.
The staff is super sweet! Always a really nice experience engaging with them, if it were only up to that this would be a 5 star review 100% My hair is course and thick. It would be painful to shave every time, in any area. I purchased laser hair removal before for a quarter of the price whose results appeared after only a few sessions and lasted years without maintenance- life changing. (maybe I was just lucky?) Now, my hair has begun to grow back only a bit so I purchased a whole new full package for each area to nip that in the bud before it came back full fledged. (Full legs, underarms and Brazilian) I have witnessed maybe a 20% difference in hair growth this time. Every nurse works differently, and the results show with incredibly inconsistent results. I was very vocal about my results and concerns along the way. They listen well, and offer comforting feedback, that everything would smooth out by the end, but no 100% results at the end of the day. Then they suggest purchasing maintenance packages, but this was in and of itself a maintenance package of sorts to begin with. When I explained that before I first purchased anything, they confirmed this would get the job done that I was looking for. I actually did end up purchase even more sessions for one area after my original 8! I tried to take their word, but it still did not get the job done, and I do not believe more sessions would help. Unfortunately, regardless if this was their intention or not, as a customer, Iāve left with the FEELING and experience of āBuild a good relationship but never fully satisfy, so they have to keep coming back.ā Wish I took before/after pictures to help. Hope you have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was the most amazing experience. If anyone is seeking a consultation try your best to get Pamela Telfer. This lady did a FaceTime consultation with Mr which is what I requested, and she literally stayed in the phone with me for almost an hour, did not rush me, answered any and every questions I had. She also offered advice which I welcomed. By the time we were finished talking I was comfortable with the decision I made. Oh did I mention it was free? So anyone seeking a consult you will love Pam. As for the actual visit everything Pam suggested was spot on. The atmosphere of that location was awesome. The staff extremely nice. Gab who works at the front desk was amazingly helpful when I was trying to find out which products I should buy. As for my esthetician I simply donāt know how to put it into words so Iāll just say JANE is the best one I ever had, she actually listened to what my fears were and not only that understood but let me know that other people had the same fears, she did not try to sell me on anything, she simply told me what she thought would be good and asked my opinion. I canāt wait until my next Appt. One more thing getting back to Pam she literally text me to make sure I was doing good after my appointment. I know this was lengthy but I wanted to show my appreciation....
