Apparently William and friends are still being rude to customers as I read those other reviews before posting mine. I emailed asking a price for a small piece of art. I was politely given the price which was quite high. Because of that I inquired about the artist and was forwarded his bio. I then asked about the price of all the others by same artist so that I could decide on which one to purchase or maybe purchase all. I was completely ignored. I sent a hello??? email to hopefully wake someone up and the response was to call the store. I replied I did not wish to call as I had all the information I needed but the price of the others that I asked for so please give me the prices. Again completely ignored. I guess this shop doesn’t really need customers or money for that matter. I will take my business elsewhere from this overpriced little store and their rude employees. I suggest you do as well. REBUTTAL: Wow! You really get off on thinking you’re better than us all who dared to write a bad review but the reviews and ratings speak for themselves whether you believe them or not. I gave you ample time to answer. If you must know, I can’t make calls during the day. I am WORKING at my desk on my computer so yes I had to use email for a reason. Unless you want to take my call at 8 pm? It’s not all about you and what you want when you run a business. In the end it’s your loss as it would have been a substantial sale like I said but by all means keep your little heads in...
Read moreATROCIOUS. The owner of this shop was abusive, presumptuous, and downright BIZARRE. Never in my life have I experienced anything like it. My friend was in town from the other side of the country to take care of her dying mother and had to be with her at a certain time. I had yet to find her a wedding gift and she loved the stuff so inquired as to whether he’d be willing to open early. I was really looking forward to her having this little joy during such a difficult visit. Not 10 minutes into us looking around (enthusiastically, I might add) did he start acting annoyed and saying things about how he didn’t open early to just have us browse, and being very hostile and EXTREMELY inappropriate. I WAS going to buy some items from the store for myself and my friend but we were just deciding. After a subsequent full-blown five minute SHOCKING tirade by him I wanted to walk out but my friend (feeling shaken and bullied) purchased two things which she now regrets. We were both left deeply unsettled by it. He should be ashamed of himself. My advice to him? Keep your mouth shut. Your temper tantrum cost you...
Read moreAgree with the descriptions about the owner’s (or clerk’s?) unjustifiably rude behaviour. He began by correcting my English - when I came in I said that I’m only browsing, and when I lifted a coffee cup to take a closer look, he said “touching is not browsing” and told me to put my phone away, and use both hands! I let it go, and later asked where the pieces are from, and he said south of France, when I asked which city, he pretended not to hear me. When I asked again, he impolitely said that I’m asking too many questions (!!) - I was the only customer in the shop as it was a Tuesday afternoon. He wanted to know whether I’m French (as if that should make a difference ?!) and when I said yes, he still didn’t share the name of the city. Don’t recommend the store, unless you want be told off...
