I could give zero stars, I would. My experience at this store was nothing short of appalling.
I visited to refill my bottle, something I’ve done before without issue. However, the store associate told me they could not honor the refill discount because I had removed the old label. When I pointed out that my bottle is engraved with “Le Labo” and still contained a small amount of the original fragrance, I was told that they “didn’t know where I got it” and that the missing label made it ineligible for a refill. They asked if had a receipt. While i was looked for the receipt the manager got involved, and the situation quickly escalated. Instead of handling the issue professionally, she became confrontational and dismissive. She stated that even if I provided a receipt, they still wouldn’t honor the discount. When I explained that I removed the old label because, during my last refill, they placed the new label over it and it looked sloppy so me being type A I removed it so I would encounter that issue again, she refused to acknowledge my concern and insisted, “That’s how we do it.”
Rather than offering a solution or politely explaining the store policy, she continued to belittle me in front of other customers. I was publicly humiliated over something as trivial as a label—despite my bottle being clearly identifiable and still containing Le Labo fragrance. To make matters worse, as I was leaving, she even told me never to return to the store.
This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable—especially from a brand that prides itself on exclusivity and craftsmanship. I will never shop here again, and I highly encourage others to take their...
Read moreI wasn’t going to write a review but google popped up on my phone and asked so here I am. Great scents, overpriced but you probably know that if you’re in there and possibly don’t care. The lady who was there (Saturday evening 2/12) was very nice and accommodating. The hipster dude with the bandana mask that people have mentioned in other reviews, eh. I might not have noticed…as much…if I hadn’t needed to google the address and seen the lower reviews than I recalled…mostly referencing him. Did I have a specific incident with him, not really, but when the lady asked him a question for me, he came out very curt, nose in the air, no explanation for why he couldn’t accommodate my request, no warmth, etc. Not that folks need their behinds kissed but you do work in customer service, and the female worker was just nice enough without overdoing it, so shout out to her. As for the dude, not that financials matter but your customers likely make more money than you so it might be a good idea to curb the...
Read moreI came in today to experience the fragrances the first time. I had the intention to find a forever perfume. This experience has definitely solidified the meaning of a forever perfume! I met with Juan who really took the time to evaluate my preferences. After choosing one out of five that he had me try, he sprayed Neroli 36 on my wrist, asked me to let it sit, and take a walk around the neighborhood. There was absolutely no pressure to buy! This is how fragrances should be tested. You have to like it because you will always wear it. After spending half an hour outside, I had to go back to purchase a bottle. The fragrance is so unique, it really nailed that beach smell without being too masculine. I love that the bottles are refillable, thus reducing waste. I definitely know where to go when I...
