I would first like to say that I do not typically write reviews. The following review is just a reflection of my own personal experience and only reflect my opinion. However, I do think this needs to be brought to light. First off, I would like to acknowledge that the communication back and forth with MAC with this situation was great. I purchased a Hermes calvi cardholder in ostrich leather in the color gris perle of the online website. This item was marked in new/never worn condition. When I received the item, I was impressed with shipping box used. The individual item was wrapped very well in plastic bubble wrap to protect the underlying Hermes box. When I unwrapped the bubble wrap, I immediately knew something was off because it was in an Hermes box that is not ever typically used for the calvi ( I have been collecting Hermes for 10+ years.) I open the Hermes box and find that the wallet is in a dustbag… ( again not ever typically used for the calvi). The dustbag was way too big to have ever originally been in the Hermes box in which it was placed. The dustbag (with the calvi in it) had been forced/shoved into the Hermes box. When I removed the calvi from the dustbag, it had been bent/folded in on one corner to fit in the box. This left the wallet deformed with a bend line across one corner of the back side of the wallet. ( I have since stuffed it with cards and the indentation and deformity has resolved. I immediately took pictures and emailed them with detailed information of what I had received. I received prompt email correspondence from MAC stating that they would address the next business day as they were out of working hours. This was very appreciated and totally understandable. After I sent the initial email and photos, I discovered a blue pen mark in the right upper corner area of the cardholder. This mark was present in the stock photos listed on the website. ---( I had originally thought this was a dye mark in the ostrich skin as this can be quite common with Hermes ostrich.) In person, the mark was much more prominent and I held it under a light and noticed that it was completely blue ( the wallet is dyed gray.) I was able to lightly remove the pen mark with a damp microfiber cloth. I also let MAC know about this. They were very apologetic and offered me a partial $250 refund credit back to my original form of payment if I wanted to keep the wallet. They also offered to let me send the item back to them for a full refund. I thought this was very reasonable ----and again they were very prompt, kind, and straightforward in their back-and-forth communications with me. I decided to keep the wallet and accept partial refund as this leather color combo has been on my Wishlist for quite some time. However, I do feel that the quality of stock merchandise at MAC is in question as this item was clearly not in new/never worn condition. I’m also very curious as to why they are piecing items together with what seems to be random Hermes boxes and dust bags that do not go together and do not seem to originate with the original item. For a $1500+ cardholder, I expect better. I do believe the item is authentic and that was never a question from me. However, at these price points, I expect a near perfect experience and delivery. What I received was a far cry from that and more closely resembled that of Michael Kors. Although I am fine with keeping the wallet, I wish I would have taken the offer for full refund due to feeling like I did business with a 2nd or 3rd grade...

I don’t know what went on between you and Taya but our credit management company is very conservative. Voice negatives on google and BBB does nothing except try to get us out of business.
Remove the negative feedback before all else.
Take them down and I will work to get this done. Leave it up and I and others will do the same to you

She created this issue. No one to blame but your self Judy. This is not the 1990s. You cant threaten someone to take off their negative experience at your company. Please don’t lie.. please don’t ! It’ll make it worse. I have the actual emails as proof.

Being an online purchase, I was a bit wary of scams etc. so decided to call first. Alexis was fantastic and prompt with her responses. Before buying the Birkin 25 (BBB), I called Alexis a couple of times from Australia and she gave me all the info I was after on my selection and also her guidance on this style I wanted. I received the original receipt and authentication certificate immediately upon payment by email as well as lots of photos of the bag. My Birkin bag was shipped promptly, packed well and arrived without any problems via DHL. I paid on 26th Dec via international wire bank transfer and received my beautiful Birkin in superb condition on 2nd Jan in Sydney, Australia!! Alexis also threw in a complimentary raincoat which was so nice of her. Being between Xmas and NY I did not expect such a fast response and customer service.
