I stay at my friends apartment at night in Manhattan, but I needed a shower today around 8:00 pm so I went here and to be honest, I waited about an hour, took my shower & then left.. I didn’t stay for Food or Sleep but I’m sure if I did need to stay for the food or sleep then it would have been very resourceful. If you’re in a emergency situation I’d suggest this place to shower & stay if you need a place to stay & then go about your business. In NYC, all you need is a stable place to sleep at night, a shower, & some food to survive while Saving & Stacking up the money you’re receiving. I’m a musician & I make money in my sleep but I chose to move out of my mothers house in April 2023 due to the negative energy I feel when I’m there. I’ve never done this before so it was an experience & I felt like I needed the experience anyway. I will most likely never visit this place again but I do suggest it to those in need of a shower & make sure you’re thinking of legal ways to get money and better your life while waiting...

No one deserves to be treated that way, no matter their race, background, or situation. Homelessness can happen to anyone, for any number of reasons. I wish I had spoken up more in that moment, even if it meant being put out in the cold with him. But people like me often go unheard until it’s too late. Maybe warning others is the only real way to make a difference. I do want to say this, though because I feel it important to be fair…the guard involved has always struck me as one of the more respectful and fair ones.
