House of Hackney — Local services in New York

Just finished hanging wallpaper … and it’s looking beautiful.

I am a novice at decorating so I started with a 15min consultation with Chloe. She was very helpful - understood the small space, my tastes and was not extremely pushy. So I could explore and select a few options with her. Once I received the samples and design recommendations it was easy to make a quick decision. All of them were nice !

The invoice process was quick and the materials arrived in Portugal, within 7 days, without any problem.

Given how expensive the paper is, I didn’t want to mess up the execution esp as the wall had various obstacles that needed to be dealt with (light switch, taps etc). I got a handyman to help. Also, I wanted to make sure I use the right glue - again the customer service team at House of Hackney were very responsive; quick to reply and follow up and good with solutions.

I am going to enjoy working it in this room. And maybe, pick courage and explore more parts of the house to do up now!
