I bought a $56 dollar bottle of wine at Mitchell's last night. A Chablis. I live on the east side but was running an errand and figured I'd save time and try this store. Well when I opened it that night the cork broke in half. When I got the cork out finally there was a powdery residue all over the bottle and in the glass. The wine had turned. I called and asked Mitchell's to deliver an undamaged bottle in exchange for the damaged one; they refused and hung up on me. I spoke to someone whose name I believe was Martell. The wine selection is good but the customer service, which once was so personal and good, is ridiculous...
