Awesome awesome brunch spot. Nestled into Sat brunch on semi-chilly Saturday morning.. outdoor seating was comfortable.. gave us good opportunity to people watch and have fresh air
Portions are hearty! And food is not only tasty but healthy. If you’re looking for something delicious and on the cleaner side with protein, highly recommend the salmon quinoa bowl. Fiber + protein + veggies + brekkie feeling with your coffee.. can’t go wrong
The banana bread w/ walnuts and mascarpone espresso frosting was RIDICULOUSly good. Not to sweet.. firm texture.. crusty corners.. ah!
Friend got the Zoe’s Market Plate which was avo, watercress, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, beets and eggs.. she liked it
If you like scrambled eggs + good sourdough.. maybe get the Seasonal Scramble.. so good.. scrambled eggs w/ eggplant + tomato kasundi (which seems like some kind of freshly made spread) + cilantro .. all drilled in paprika oil.. has a nice kick to it too!
While food was awesome.. what made the entire experience well worth it was the service.. our server, Tristan, was OUTSTANDING. He went above and beyond the entire time to ensure we were well looked after. Friend didn’t love the matcha latte and he swapped it out without any hesitation.. brought her back something she loved.. kept refilling my coffee.. with fresh batches vs just adding the hot coffee to the cold stale coffee in the cup.. just a great dude!

Read moreI visited two Hands in Soho with a friend on August 21st. We ordered three plates — the salmon grain bowl, the acai bowl with berries and granola, and the avocado toast topped with a poached egg. Everything looked amazing and tasted fresh, healthy, and delicious. Honestly, the food is 10/10 and beautifully prepared. But need more salt. I’m not being mean or anything you can see I always give high reviews.
Unfortunately, the service really disappointed me. The male server suggested adding peanut butter and extra eggs, but never told us it would cost extra. When the bill came, I was charged an additional $10 without any notice. As someone who works in service myself, I think it’s very important to explain to customers when something comes at an extra charge. Because he asked “ do you want an egg on it” asking if that was optional free of charge- he was ( dark skin) and the women in the front keep rushing us , I don’t get why she’s rushing us and not wanting to take our orders so we can leave faster like make it make sense
On top of that, the woman at the counter told us right away “no reservation” and that we only had one hour at the table, which felt rushed and unwelcoming.
So overall: the food was excellent and I would recommend it for the flavors, but the service experience left me frustrated. Clear communication and a friendlier approach would make this place so...
Read moreWe randomly found Two Hands online and immediately were able to make a reservation for outside patio seating (heated) for 12:15pm. We were so hungry so we went an hour earlier and they were able to accommodate and seat
We ordered a latte, taro latte, Aussie meat pie (new on the menu) and Miso Mushroom Bowls. The lattes were very creamy and delicious. The latte art was beautiful. Taro latte actually had taro flavor. The meat pie was dense, flavorful and not greasy. The puff pastry was crispy!. The spiced tomato sauce on the side matched well the the pie. The watercress was very fresh. The Miso Mushroom Bowl was presented very nicely with all the ingredients (FULL OF THEM). The flavor of kimchi, egg, mushroom and spices blended very well.
With inflation etc, I think this place is worth the price with the amount and quality of their ingredients.
Our server Victoria was super friendly. She welcomed us with...
