I don’t often write a negative google review (I can recall ever doing so ONCE) but I was treated so rudely today I want to alert the neighborhood. I walked in and said with a smile “I only taped one side of the box, but I brought my own tape!” I thought they’d laugh considering the spirit in which I spoke. One guy (the franchise owner?) said you’re supposed to do that at home and I should charge you for doing it here.” What? “I brought my own tape…see?” “Well I could charge you…next time I will.” He was escalating what could’ve been a very jovial exchange. I said, “you’d charge me to use my own tape?” “Yes.” “Okay…how much would you charge me to use my own tape?” He said two dollars, in fact I could tell you to go out on the sidewalk to do it. (This was turning foul.) I said you’re not being very neighborly…this is a NEIGHBORHOOD. “Everyone else does it at home! Why can’t you?!” I quietly said my place is under construction. (It is, I was in a rush to leave home today.) And then he turned to his employee and complained about me and of course the kid stayed mute (doesn’t want to lose his job.) I stayed quiet, they scanned the return and got out of there ASAP. Get a grip! Is this what our little EV is coming to? For the record—you can withhold you’re telling me to never return. Trust...
Read moreGotta disagree with the reviews here. The staff aren't rude, they're just getting their jobs done. And they do it very well! I opened a PO box with the store (package thief in my apt building...), and everytime: I walk in, I get my key and open my PO box to get the package note, and, before I even hand it to whoever is at the counter, they have already recognized me and grabbed my package. They didn't get my box number from the paper; they just remembered me and my number. THAT is customer service, and trust me that goes a long way.
Highly reccomend this place! Especially if you're in the neighborhood and also getting packages stolen from your apartment! Took hardly 5-10 minutes to set up a box (even quicker if you dont read contracts before you sign them lol). This place is in a good location, and can receive just about any package. Been using it for the past 5 months and have yet to lose a package here. Keep up the great work guys!
If I'm guessing, the negative reviews come from people who didn't know how to use a service and got frustrated with the staff about it. These guys don't seem like pushovers, so I'm sure they didn't suck up to the customers whenever they got...
Read moreScheduled an appointment for notary services at 9 am this morning (specifically chose this location / UPS store because I was able to schedule appointments FOR NOTARY SERVICES which I was unable to do at various banks and even at other UPS locations that said notaries not available at certain times). Called the store yesterday to attempt to confirm...no one picked up.... left a call back number. No call back. Silly me. I showed up at 9 am today anyway and was told matter of factly by the employee that a) the notary isn't in til 1 pm and b) "yeah, I know the website accepts appointments for notary starting at 9". No apology for wasted time (admittedly not his fault one assumes), and no sense that this was out-of-the-ordinary or inconvenient to offer a an appointment function for a particular service when it's obvious that service isn't normally available at that...
