Oh, let me tell you about my delightful experience at 7th Street Burger East Village! This place is a true gem, offering not only mouthwatering food but also a cozy spot to unwind after a long stroll around the intriguing Museum of the American Gangster. Trust me, it's the perfect spot to refuel and recharge.
Now, let's talk about the food. As soon as I entered the restaurant, the tantalizing scent of the grill wafted through the air, beckoning me like a siren. I couldn't resist its charm, and I found myself channeling my inner Jughead from the Archie comic books, surrendering to the temptation of burgers and fries. Who could blame me?
Dominique, my gracious host, seemed to understand my weakness for irresistible flavors. With a mischievous smile, she suggested, "Let me order you an awesome burger and fries." And boy, am I glad she did! Every bite was a revelation; I felt like I had discovered the secret to eternal happiness in the form of a perfectly cooked double cheeseburger. The beef patties were juicy and flavorful, the cheese melted to perfection, and the crispy fries were an addictive delight.
Curiosity got the best of me, and I couldn't resist peering into the kitchen. Lo and behold, I was greeted by a team of cooks who seemed like culinary angels, diligently crafting what can only be described as God's Burgers. I swear, I even caught a glimpse of wings sprouting from one of them! It was a heavenly sight, and I knew in that moment that I would be coming back for more.
But here's the best part: 7th Street Burger East Village understands that life can get busy, and sometimes you just want to enjoy their delectable creations in the comfort of your own home. That's right, they offer takeaway options, so you can savor their culinary marvels wherever you please.
Now, let's not forget about the ambiance. The restaurant boasts a quiet atmosphere that has been praised by many visitors. It's the kind of place where you can unwind, catch up with friends, and savor every delectable bite without distractions. It's a haven for burger enthusiasts and food lovers alike.
So, despite being on a diet and knowing I shouldn't indulge in burgers and fries, the allure of 7th Street Burger East Village was simply too strong to resist. And let me tell you, it was worth every glorious, guilt-inducing moment. So go ahead, unleash your inner Jughead and treat yourself to a burger experience that will leave you craving more. You...
Read moreI have been going to 7th st burger for a long time in the East Village because it’s always been a reliable meal. Tonight my sister was in town to celebrate a birthday and we go to 7th st because it’s the birthday girl’s favorite place and my sister had never been. Unfortunately, when they called my sister’s name they gave the burger to the wrong person. As soon as she went up to get the burger after they called her name, they said it had already been given to somebody else. After that the man turned around without providing any solution. When my sister came and told me, I knew something was wrong. we went inside thinking that if we explained the situation that they would remake her order to solve the problem or at least give us a refund. They try giving a refund for the receipt with the same name, but it does not match the receipt for what she ordered. To that, the staff responded that they couldn’t do anything about it and that “they don’t know the name we gave them, and we don’t know the name that we gave them”. Which is so many levels of disrespectful. We understand that it’s a late night, but the solution felt simple. Their solution was that it was our fault and we had to suck it up. They wanted to go home, and the solution could have been simpler if they were able to look up the card number for the refund or made a new order. On the way out after no resolution, I told him “thank you, I will never be coming here again.” To which he (man-bun) responded “thank you and I’m sure Jesus loves you.” The disrespect hurt my sisters feelings and as we are comforting her outside, the man with the man-bun came out to tell us he “expedited an order for us” without any apology for the mistake that he made giving a burger to the wrong person. I can admit that I was angry and yelled at him, but his audacity to give us a burger and continue to blame us for his mistakes was offensive. I will happily never come back for a mediocre burger ever again, since it looks like there’s a lot of new options popping up in the neighborhood...
Read moreFinally tried the famous and well renowned 7th Street Burgers. And was it worth the hype and should it be considered one of the best burger joints of NYC? Well tbh not really. It was ok, it wasn’t the worst or the best. The prices were pretty good and they had seating outside but no seating indoors. Inside it was pretty small. My burger came out pretty quickly, like within 5-7 minutes which was good. I got my burger quickly despite there being a long line in front of me. The customer service was alright, the cashier wasn’t the friendliest, nor was he the rudest. However, he did seem frustrated about the long line. The inside of the store was plain and there wasn’t any decor inside the store. I got the impossible burger, and the taste was alright. It was greasy and oily, but tasted ok. The meat tasted like real meat. You tasted the sauce in the end, and not at the beginning. The burger wasn’t that filling, and I got hungry afterwards. I think Burgers on B, five minutes away has much better smash burgers. Their smash burgers were more flavorful and tasty. They were also cheaper and customer service is better. There are way less people going in and there is also indoor seating with nice decor/design inside the store. So on this battle of the smash burger, I say Burgers on B definitely wins, and I would recommend going there instead of 7th Street Burger. 7th Street Burger is now more of a chain, while Burgers on B isn’t. But I’m glad I was able to try 7th Street Burger to see whether it was worth the hype and to see whether it was one of the best burgers in NYC.
