I’ve never posted a bad review but I guess there’s a first for everything. I bought a hanging pothos from here 2 weeks ago. After just a few days about half the leaves were turning yellow or brown. I trimmed the sick leaves off and have been taking good care of it, but after two weeks it continues to turn. It’s obvipusly just a sick plant but when I went in to see if they’d exchange it, the worker I spoke to just repeatedly told me I hadn’t watered it which, if it weren’t patently false, would’ve been helpful feedback. I have many of these plants, I’ve been caring for them for years. I know how to keep them healthy—they’re really low maintenance. Take a little pride in what you do. I live in the neighborhood and care for a menagerie if plants that I love. Had they exchanged the plant I would’ve left a happy customer and surely come back for more. I can forgive a sick plant, but bad customer service is bad customer service. If you need a plant in EV, go to Crystals...
Read moreI went to this store with a vague notion to "get a plant" for my apartment. Needless to say, complications ensued; I had no idea what kind of plant I wanted (only that it had to be "large-ish" and a good indoor plant), forgot that I would also need a pot, and, worst of all, I surmised that the cart I had brought with me was way too small. Rendered (now) utterly useless, I wanted to toss it (and myself along with it) into the street.
Fortunately, an incredibly helpful worker who seemed to see the dramatic scene unfolding in my head came to my rescue. Not only did he help me choose a wonderful indoor plant, he also helped me choose a pot, a plate to go along with it, and then - if that wasn't enough - he helped me put it all in the Uber I got to transport it back to my apartment. I am forever in this person's debt (I wish I had asked for his name!), and will never forget the kindness and patience he had for probably one of the ditziest customers he's ever had...
Read moreThe worst customer service of any hardware store and the manager was rude. I had two keys copied Saifee Hardware & Garden and they were bad copies and did not work. Unfortunately, I was called out of town for two weeks and upon my return went to the store hoping to to put the price of the key copying towards the purchase of vacuum cleaner bags. Because it was beyond 7 days of purchase they would do nothing to reimburse the money I had spent. I had both the keys and receipt in hand and the manager blankly refused because it was their policy. I could understand a 7 day window if the purchase items were perishables but as far as I'm concerned this is simply a case of bad management and bad policy. I will never shop...
