Worst "service" ever! 3 packages (all of the ones shipped via USPS) were marked 'unable to deliver' and returned to sender, forcing me to request refunds and re-order after the price had gone up and now later delivery, if ever. The 2nd package they told me had already been returned to sender the first day after "attempted delivery". Amazon put me on the line with the office and they told me they would re-deliver the following day, which means they lied and hadn't sent it back yet. And then the next day... surprise, surprise: nothing. And then I called and they again said they had again sent back to sender. All this while I had received plenty of packages directly to this address by UPS, Fedex, Amazon Direct, and Target with no problems. And then the same ordeal with the 3rd package, which I'm on the line with now trying to get delivered or, at least left at the office, so I can puck up before it's sent back yet again. The USPS has no business existing...the government and government control is always the problem and needs to be eliminated in favor of private enterprise in almost all...
Read moreIt wouldn’t be a New York post office without the attitude of the workers. At this location, a woman allowed a person to skip me just because I couldn’t tell who they were talking to. When it’s my turn, the woman grabs my box with a side eye and ask her coworker if she can put a label on my package. *YES YOU CAN, it wasn’t that small * then to save her time I said, I’ll take the cheapest delivery rate which is the 2.75 option. She responds with an attitude “ I don’t know what the cheapest is, choose your delivery time “ Even though on the screen it clearly says the 2 day option. So I say the 2 day option, then I accidentally put in the wrong card and I let her know. She yells “ YOU SWITCH THE CARD ?? “ I say no, just the wrong card. From there, we did the transaction again and got the receipt. Sis, if you don’t like your job,...
Read moreIf I could give this place a negative review, I would. I spoke with 5 different people to locate a package that I was told would deliver by 7pm. It was an amazon purchase. On Amazon it says they have up until 8pm to deliver, yet Canal Street location closes at 7:30 conveniently. When I asked one of the employees at Canal St why they had me wait on hold for 20 minutes, they couldn't answer that question and they also said my package was not on the truck as it should have been. This has happened more that 4 times. When I asked to speak with a manager, I clicked on my amazon purchase to refresh the page and found that USPS LIED and said that my package was DELIVERABLE because it had the wrong address on it! I have to now figure out how to get my package and how to get AMAZON use USPS as a...
