You would think a high end store like this would have great customer service, I can't believe how terrible it was. I placed an online order on Feb 1st the delivery option would have arrived too late so I opted to do an in store pick up at this location since it would be ready for pickup by Feb 5th. (Note: I bought this for my moms birthday that was feb 7th) February 5th came around and I didn’t receive any emails about the order being ready for pickup so I called the store and they said, “it’s not here yet try calling back tomorrow sometimes the system updates early.” Next day I called & they said it still was not there. So I explained to them the situation and they told me the only way I would get the item by feb 7th is to cancel my online order come to the store and rebuy. I did not want to do that so I called the online team to see if I can switch from in store pick up to delivery since at this point it would come after my moms birthday anyway, they told me not a problem and that I would receive new tracking info. I never received that info. Today Feb 13th I called the online team again and explained the situation so they called this store directly and they me the person they spoke to informed that that the item has been ready for pick up since February 5th at the stoe ! 🤬 This was a terrible experience with horrendous customer service.Everyone I spoke to in regard to this matter was unbelievably rude! Maybe different locations have better customer service but I highly advise against spending your hard earned money at this incredibly rude and unprofessional location.
UPDATE: The manager at the store reached out to me and met with me personally to apologize and make this situation right! The effort was genuine and sincere and I will be returning to the location the next time I...
Read moreTo the VCA Hudson Yards management,
You should be aware of the deplorable behavior displayed by one of your security staff members during my recent visit on a Friday afternoon.
Upon arriving in front of the store, I was met with dismissiveness and impatience. Despite my obvious need for help and attempts to communicate, the security exhibited a complete lack of empathy and respect. His facial expressions conveyed annoyance, impatience, and disgust. Moreover, he callously ignored my attempts to communicate verbally, opting instead for a dismissive shoulder shrug and a demeaning hand gesture akin to calling an animal.
Throughout this encounter, not once did the security offer any attempt to assist a visibly pregnant woman - I was 8 month pregnant with occupied hands. His failure to acknowledge my condition or extend even the most basic courtesy is a glaring violation of both professional conduct and common decency.
As a paying customer of VCA Hudson Yards, I am appalled by this incident and deeply concerned about the standards of service and treatment upheld by this specific establishment. Pregnant or not, paying or not, every individual deserves to be treated with respect and empathy, especially at VCA that prides itself on customer care.
Seeing that there have been numerous negative feedback with your store regarding the security personnel, I implore you to take immediate and decisive action to address this matter and ensure that such reprehensible behavior is not repeated.
I feel compelled to leave this review because every couple, every daughter, every mom, every husband, everyone who enters your store deserves a joyous and celebrated moment in their lives. They should never have to endure...
Read moreI normally don’t write reviews for any stores, good or bad. But I just had to share this. I went with a friend that day and when we first walked in the store the lady at the front asked me if we had an appointment. I said no, then she told me that all the sales associates were busy with other clients and that we could browse. I didn’t browse bc I knew what I wanted to purchase already. After a long while me and friend started to wonder why nobody was assisting us even though there were only 2 other clients in the store and sales associates just walking around. It felt very tense and unwelcoming. It was very clear at that point that they didn’t want to assist me. Eventually some lady tells me that nobody is available and she’ll give me a call to come back when someone is available. I called the store after I left to see if there was anyone available bc I felt like she was lying straight to my face, but I just hung up bc I realized I just gave her my number. A little while after she calls me back to let me know someone’s available, so we go back. After we get back, I tell the sales associate what I want and she gets it. While we were making the purchase the employees were literally staring at us while snickering and laughing. It was obvious that bc of the way we looked they thought we wouldn’t be able to make the purchase. I’ve never felt this uncomfortable shopping at an upscale store. Never going back to that...
