I know i will love it. It's new so they may have some kinks to iron out. First, to manage expectations, this is a small café, not a full store. I went to order a cornetto, stood for a while but felt ignored as a group of 3 women that were behind me were served first. Ok, no problem.
Edit to add: the line at the counter is a little unclear as to the process. Since the counter is long, with one side having pizza, sandwiches, etc., and the other side pastries, do you wait behind someone ordering pizza if you want pastries? Do you skip ahead to go straight to the other side? Is the same person behind the counter dealing with both sides?
Also there is a sign with a qr code at the beginning of the line to download an app. I did that but the guy behind the register was incredibly rude and didn't understand what I wanted to do with the app. I explained that I don't know how it works because I just downloaded it. He asked if I wanted to pay with it. Again I said I don't know what to do with it but I said it looks like you get loyalty points. He asked me to pull up a bar code but he couldn't tell me how to find it. So I didn't end up using the app for my cornetto and capuccino. I found the qr code afterwards but he said I would have had to given it to him before. He acted like I was dumb for not understanding the app within the 10 seconds that I had downloaded it. He was also chewing gum (with his mouth open) while behind the counter.
As for my nutella cornetto - meh. The cappuccino was delightful, however, and the view looking out over hudson yards is lovely.

The coffee is outstanding—rich, smooth, and brewed with the kind of care you only find in a true Italian café. Pairing it with one of their fresh pastries or a slice of focaccia makes for the perfect start to the day. The food is just as impressive: simple, high-quality, and packed with genuine Italian flavor. Whether it’s pizza alla pala, a panino, or a refreshing scoop of gelato, everything tastes freshly made and authentic.
What really sets this spot apart is how well it captures the essence of Italian café culture—whether you’re grabbing something on the go or sitting down for a more leisurely moment. And the wine bar is the cherry on top—nothing beats enjoying a spritz or glass of Italian wine while overlooking the Vessel.

Read moreCame dozens of times the past summer. Employees are efficient, work GREAT together even under stressful customers and rush hours, and are highly professional and friendly. Very clean environment.
Look it's pricey but this quality is guaranteed. Literally saw them handmake gelato early morning as well as handrolling croissants in the morning. The chocolate crossaint in particular tastes like clouds, the chocolate is mind blowing, and the entire confection is perfectly delectable. Another recommendation, the hot coffee is made with real high quality ingredients.
Even the utensils are very clean and pretty. The entire place is well maintained. Again, hats off to the staff. They're a testament to the greatness of...
