Let me begin with this; the bigger they are. The harder they fall. And I will NEVER be eating at this location ever again. Today on January 21st, 2019 at approximately 2:12 I order a #3 (12 count) nugget meal with a lemonade. By 2:25, my lunch was almost over with no time to eat and I had YET to recieve my food after asking employees if they had heard my name being called, incase I missed it.
As I said, 2:25 comes and I’m asking for a refund because my lunch is over and by the time I walk back to my store, I’ll have 5 minutes. 5 minutes to eat an entire lunch that I should have had 20-25 minutes for, INCLUDING the time it takes to walk back.
Am I given an explanation? No. Does someone apologize and ask me how can they fix the issue? No. It’s not until I call 5 min later, asking for the franchise owner’s number, that I get a sense of urgency. (And I will continue to call until I reach the owner and make absolute sure they are aware of how your customer service goes from 100 to 0. Real quick).
Once I get in the phone with a manager, they give me the old run around about the whereabouts of the franchise owner. And then tries to cut me off and shut me up with “How about a free meal? I’m trying to provide great customer service”. Okay. First of all, I would have appreciated it a lot more if this kind of dilegence was taken up while I was still on company premesis. Also, I don’t look to get things for free. I wanted my food when I ordered it. Your offer to make my meal for free doesn’t help. I HAVE TO GO BACK TO WORK. your free meal doesn’t FEED ME NOW. You know what would have? My order. When I ordered it.
And the excuse for why didn’t see my order was (and I quote)”Sometimes the orders get bumped off the system”. That’s it. And followed by another free meal offer. No. I don’t want that. I want ACTUAL customer service. As a manager of a retail store just across the street , I can say I am damn disappointed. Because what I got from this is that If I had not said anything, I probably would have never received MY ORDER and it would have been deemed my fault. And that my issues could have been resolved if I had said something? You had every opportunity between seeing my disgruntled body language and me asking for a refund because I DID NOT RECEIVE MY FOOD. Why is that not a red flag in FOOD & BEVERAGE?! The one thing I came for that you sell was not given to me. That’s like a customer purchasing items and not receiving them; YOU MAKE IT RIGHT AS BEST YOU CAN before just refunding and sending them in their way. The lack of effort portrays that you don’t care. Whether you do or not, From one manager to another, hat’s NOT how you handle business.
None of you had the common sense to figure out why a customer who has been sitting in the same spot, CLUTCHING his receipt and asking about his name being called, did not receive his food yet. You have no idea what kind of time restraints people are on when they reach your business. You need to take their time just as serious as you would you own. Read moreI’ll start out this review by saying that I rarely eat fast food. Most of it makes me feel bloated and disgusting, but CFA has been my go-to for a quick meal because it’s always been reliable, fresh, and hot. I was in the area during my lunch break, so I decided to go to this CFA for the first time. Didn’t think twice about it for the reason I just listed. I’d never been disappointed in the past. I was in for a rude awakening. I was pressed for time because I had a work meeting. Ordered off the mobile app, no issues at all. Went through the line, got my food, looked in the bag before I drove off, but didn’t see any ketchup despite ordering fries. Now, this may have not been out of the ordinary, but I’ve never ordered ketchup when I ordered fries. It’s always been in the bag. I flag the carhop girl down and ask for ketchup. She gets some for me and I leave. By this time, my meeting is starting so I have to pull over right outside the CFA parking lot and hop on. I took the food out of the bag and then I realize that my ice cream cup that I ordered is missing 🙄 so I turn back around and have to go inside to get it. I will say that everyone at the counter asked me if I needed help while I was waiting, but the fact that I had to go inside which I wasn’t counting on irked me, so I was looking pretty annoyed. Finally, get back to my car, take off again. Pull over outside of the CFA parking lot again, hangry at this point, rejoin my meeting and start eating. I take a sip of the usually delicious lemonade and it’s WATERED DOWN. Not from ice, I could tell that it was just plain watered down. Either they made it incorrectly or they changed the recipe, but at this point I’m fuming. I’m praying that this is just not the direction CFA is headed in. I have been a LOYAL customer for over 20 years. Every single fast food place has gone to hell but CFA has always stood strong. Read moreThe absolute worst in the entire chain. I spent my last $65 on a meal for my family, got home and I was missing an entire meal. While at the restaurant I ask if everything was in the bag the person at the window stated yes everything is in the bag. Granted I did come to the restaurant 15 minutes prior to closing, but should service not be the same at all times during operating hours? I was hurrried while placing my order. The person taking orders over the intercom ask at least five times “ do you want anything else” they used absolutely no suggestive sales. They rushed me after every item I ordered. After arriving home at 10:05 being that we only live a few blocks away I called back and spoke to Destiny the manager told her what happened and she offered to replace the 4 count strip meal that was missing at a later date. I told her that this was unacceptable being that I had spent my last and now someone has to not have dinner because someone was rushing to do their job and did not verify the order. She told me that she is trying to do her Paperwork and get a lot of things done so she could not hear me out. When I said that a customer’s complaint should take precedence at this point and she should at least hear me out, she then pretended to listen. After it was all said and done she stated that she could not do anything else and I could come there within the next 2 months and get a meal replacement. I asked her if there was a higher up that I could speak with such as a GM or owner and she stated “you can take it to corporate”.She finally gave me the owner’s name and stated that she could not give me any contact info or a way to make this situation known.
