Went and made $192.00 purchase this past Sunday for a pair of glasses and new lenses. The sales associate (manager) processed my card as a debit and then said it didn’t go through that we had to do it again. We did this and it went through. Immediately after the 2nd transaction I checked my bank account and sure enough it had processed the first time and then again the second time. He then told me the first one would fall off. I tried to explain to the associate (manager) that when it is processed as a debit it clears immediately and would not fall off. He insisted I was wrong and it would. I decided to contact my bank Monday morning and asked if it would fall off and they said I was correct, it was processed as a debit and not credit so it had already cleared and a refund would be required or I could file a dispute. I decided to file the dispute to get my money back. I just called the Oakley store again to inform the associate (manager) of what had transpired and he spoke to me condescending and flat out rude in my opinion as I was just trying to notify him for future occurrences that it in fact would not fall off if processed as a debit so he would know moving forward. He said I can process a refund but it will take 90 days. I assured him my bank was handling it and ended the call. They really need to do better with things like this as some people can NOT wait 90 days for their money to be returned to them when it was their mistake. Will NOT be going back. I’ll shop elsewhere.

When the gift receiver tried to return the glasses, with in a few weeks, that were never taken out of the box, the clerk told them that the glasses had an unseen bump in the lens and could not be returned. They were extremely rude and provided NO alternative except to buy ANOTHER pair at 50% off! It was clear from the receipt that it was purchased at this store and the date.It was also clear with a red sticker on it that it was a display pair.
