Highly highly highly recommend Hawaii Apex Charters if you are in Hawaii and want to see some of the islands underwater wildlife!! I got the pleasure of going on two of Hawaii Apex Charters snorkel tours led by Ianthe (diver/photographer) and Philip (captain). They both were super friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and comforting during the entire trip. The first tour I got to see some of the sea turtles 🐢 off the coast of Waikiki and the second tour we headed out to a shipwreck where I got to see some of the islands sand bar sharks!!!! Not going to lie I was a little nervous but both Ianthe and Philip did such a good job at being patient with me and not forcing me into anything I didn't want to do. You can also tell that they both have a deep care for the ocean and wildlife and really are doing this for the right reasons as to educate people, but also to show everyone a really good time.

I think something else to mention which added to the trip was the focus on a smaller group. The max group limit was 6 so with the smaller group you really felt almost "closer" to the animals and got a really cool intimate experience with the guide Ianthe as she was able to really lead the group to the right spots and take some amazing pictures. It seriously felt like a VIP experience with the personalized attention!

I genuinely had such a fun time and I am so glad I got the opportunity to go and experience these animals in their natural habitat.
