When I first walked in I thought “uhh this is small” … but I kept my mind open. I had a thought of what I wanted and I told Janelle my likes and dislikes and she grabbed a few dresses. This was my 4th wedding dress shopping experience (because I am extremely picky) and I have had zero luck at previous shops. To my surprise, after trying on only 3 of the dresses Janelle had picked out, she had found the perfect dress for me to try on! I tried on a few more, but I still knew I had found the right one! The dresses are gorgeous and I was happy to purchase MY dress! The shop is so cute, and she told me she and her friend had painted the walls themselves! (Wow) The lighting is amazing. The mirrors are great. She had jewelry to purchase that felt glamorous. You really get a “bride to be” experience. Janelle is really down to earth too and I never felt pressure from her at all. I 100% support her shop! I couldn’t believe she had just opened and she was already so organized, I can tell she really loves her job. Cute little bonus. I got to sign her “dress” so now I will go down in her sparkle&gown history! I highly recommend...

This is the best place! I went there for my first wedding dress appointment and it was incredible. Janelle was so nice. I wasn't sure what to expect and I was nervous to try things on. She did such a good job of making me feel comfortable and she pulled such excellent dresses. I really loved the set up of her shop. You change into the dresses and then she opens up the dressing room for you to walk out directly facing a mirror. Everything I tried on I felt absolutely gorgeous in. Janelle was super knowledgeable about all of the dresses and designers. She was such a great hype woman while still letting me feel in control and that everything was my choice. I never felt that she was trying to coerce me or persuade me on anything and her opinions were genuine. This is such a wonderful option for the Ogden area. Especially if you are looking for a wedding boutique experience. Most of the highest rated shops are an hour or more drive from this area, so I loved that I could have my appointment right after work and not worry about travel time. Such a great shop! SPARKLES AND GOWNS IS SENSATIONAL! The owner Janelle is an absolute beautiful soul. I went in filled with anxiety and was super nervous, but as soon as I met her all my panic melted away. Me, my mama, mother in law, and sister all had a beautiful experience in her gorgeous shop! She never once pressured me and listened to everything I wanted for my dress. My sister has cerebral palsy and is quadriplegic, (I have her wearing a wedding dress at wedding because she probably wont have one of her own) and Janelle was so kind and gentle with her. She even let her try on dresses and gave her the full bride experience too (all of us were in tears and very touched). I ended up buying my dress there and its absolutly stunning. She has a marvelous selection of gowns and helped me take my time deciding. I highly recommend her.
