Listen. Do you believe in customer service? In simply trying to treat people right for the sake of treating people right? Today was a very disappointing experience and what’s so crazy is I believe it was the shift manager that accosted me after his employees were very very kind and accommodating. My daughter and I got caught behind a train that wasn’t moving and believed we were late as we thought the movie started at noon. We still went and ordered some lunch as we were actually very hungry and then kindly asked the person who was helping us if he could possibly deliver it as our movie had started - he was so nice and said yes just give me what move and seats and I will deliver it!
We headed in but quickly realized the movie had not yet started. We put our stuff down and went right back to find him and let me know we could pick it up and he didn’t need to waste his time as we were not late!
The other man, who I believe might be the manager, literally accosted me and my daughter. “It’s not our responsibility it’s your responsibility to get here in time for your movie, we are short staffed blah blah blah…” he sat there lecturing me for quite some time. Fist he didn’t have to say yes, how do I know your short staffed? and second I literally came down here trying to be kind and let him know he didn’t need to deliver it….
I’m a frequent user of all of the upgrades here at megaplex. The best seats, the Oder from your phone get delivery, I bring my family of 6 here all the time. Order food, fancy seats. We love it. Movie night is our thing.
I recommend if you’re hungry going to the theater to just get the popcorn and go eat somewhere else. I don’t know why we were treated so poorly. The 16$ nachos we ordered were literally cold. The corn dog my daughter got was burnt… but I literally wouldn’t care about the cold overpriced nachos and burnt corn dog if we were treated with respect.
.. he could have said, thank you for coming back down, we are short staffed and don’t have the time to deliver.
Instead he claimed to be short staffed while he took the time to stand there lecturing us and people were waiting. He could have been helping them. People really need to learn how to treat others with a little more respect. This made me never want...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. Let me set the stage, it was a Tuesday morning at 10AM and my wife and I decided to take our two year old twin boys to the 30 year anniversary of Toy Story movie for $5. Everything was going well and we ended up buying 2 seats with the intention of having the boys sit on our lap like we have done in the past. We arrived to the movie about 10 min early and were shocked to see that we were the only ones in the theater, the movie started and we were still the only ones in the entire room. I told my wife that we should have the boys sit next to us so they can have their own seats. side note, we are in the top left corner of the room. 10 min into the movie a staff member comes in and tells us that our boys cannot sit next to us and we either have to buy two more tickets or put them on our lap.... My jaw dropped and I looked around the room...YUP.... still the only ones in the entire room. I could not believe that on a Tuesday morning watching a 30 year old re-run with our 2 year old boys some manager decided to look at the cameras and send someone in to tell us they could not sit there!! I could not believe how petty and ridiculous their request was. My wife ended up putting both boys on her lap and one again 20 min later they came into the theater to interrupt us a second time! This time around it was a different employee who said "I talked to my manager and because he said it was a little slow today your kids could sit in the seats, I do not have the words to express the eye roll and frustration that I was feeling. Once again they interrupted us multiple times and were extremely petty to come and request that we do not let our kids sit next to us in an EMPTY theater. I hope that in the future Megaplex will think about customer satisfaction and customer experience rather than ruin a fun...
Read moreCustomer service has gone downhill lately. I went to purchase tickets, and there was a substantial line at the only two functioning kiosks to purchase tickets. An elderly couple was in front of me and asked if I could help, I tried, but was unsuccessful. This is extremely frustrating because there were two employees standing there by just talking to each other not paying attention or even noticing the fact that a huge line started developing behind the only two functioning kiosks. I approached one of them and asked what we could do to get tickets, by this time there was a line at least 15 to 20 people waiting, I was told you can purchase your tickets at the concessions as well. In forethought it really would have been nice if the employees would have noticed the line accumulating and the customers frustrated trying to get their tickets and not able to get them at the two working kiosks and offer the solution to where they could pick up the tickets.
Shortly after that, I got my kids seated in the movie and all ready to sit down for the show, I return back to the concessions to see if the pizza I ordered was ready yet. I calmly and simply asked if my number had been called yet because I had to step away. The customer service associate looked at my ticket talk to into the computer and in a frustrated tone explain to me I need to be patient because there's eight other orders ahead of mine. I explained how I was being patient I was just asking if I missed my number because I had stepped away.
Seems to be a trend with customer service lately...
