This is a novel adventure-entertainment concept, well executed, when it was built. There are similar adventure offers in warehouses in strip malls and industrial areas, probably at lower prices. This was built as an entertainment and dining hub in a rejuvenated downtown area, and was located and designed to attract locals and tourists. It continues to work well because the many establishments in the four block area are kept well-maintained. It has been a great addition to the 25th St. redevelopment area that has made downtown Ogden unique and popular with locals and tourists. Tourists should note that this is a welcoming community and is intended to preserve the late 1800s look and small town feel, rather than the cosmopolitan and a bit more international feel of downtown Salt Lake City. These were two totally different communities a century and a half ago, and had just been connected together with a new, much faster, mode of transportation that made them an hour apart...
Read moreThe Junction is a great development with plenty of options for dining and entertainment. Its staples are The Megaplex, Hilton Garden Inn, Treehouse Children's Museum, and Salomon Center, which houses Fat Cats, Golds Gym, Flowrider, iFly, and more! There's lots of dining options including Sonora Grill (I'd highly recommend), Blue Lemon, Costa Vida, and several local fares and fast food chains. Lime-S scooters recently expanded to Ogden, and lots of their scooters are available at The Junction for a ride around. The changes to Grant Avenue are perfect for this now, with designated non-motorized pathways for blocks around The Junction. There's also housing, but I can't speak for any of that as I don't have direct experience with it. It's been great to see this property which formerly housed the old Ogden City Mall get developed and become a thriving epicenter of...

But when I attempted to get a refill of my yearly bucket mid movie; they wanted me to leave the movie area go into the lobby and wait in line when there was several would-be patrons waiting in line ahead of me. I asked for the manager. He told me he would be unable to service me there since their cash register inside the movie area was not operating. I suggested he ring me up on one of the cash registers in the lobby since it was Onlysteps away in the concessions area. No go. This group is Not interested in serving the public, but rather placing obstacles into otherwise reliable movie experience. Extremely inconvenient and in my opinion...
