Never come here. For the first time in my life I will say avoid this place at all cost!
You will be treated poorly and waste your money and time.
I was told this place has the best wings and I took my family who just moved here to try it and will never return.
We entered and the place had only one table. It took 15 minutes to get our party of 9 waters and a beer.
When my mom ordered a beer it took 25 minutes to get her beer.
We placed our order and it took 57 minutes for the first item to make it to the table. What came first was the kids pizza and fries which the fries came frozen and not even cooked. The pizza the kids said was disgusting and all 3 refused to eat it. They took a bite and spit it out.
Then about 10 minutes later we got our wings and sandwiches. We ordered steak tacos and they gave us chicken. We ordered a chicken tender sandwich no ranch and it was drowning in ranch. We ordered a pork sandwich and the pork was cold and nasty. Ordered a burger and tasted like the grill hasn’t been cleaned in months , the burger gave my brother a severe stomach ache. He said it was worse then a Wendy’s burger.
When we told the server she apologized and said they have a new chef she doesn’t know what’s going on. She asked if want it remade and we said no. It took an hour and everything was wrong.
We shared 17 wings amongst 9 people two being pregnant that are due within 6 weeks.
It was the worse experience. The server didn’t charge me for the food made wrong or the pizza but made us pay for everything else even though it wasn’t eaten.
We had the bill split in two. One for my family and one for my brother.
Then when I asked why the bill was higher then expected she said theirs an automatic gratuity added and she can’t do anything about it because we are a large party. So she got an automatic 20% tip and didnt inform me without asking. Working in restaurant industries in my early days I was taught it’s the law to notify the table.
When we left I asked my brother why he paid $10 in cash and not all on card. He said he gave that as a tip. I said on top of the gratuity. He said he didn’t know their was one.
He went back in and said I tipped you on a gratuity why didn’t you tell me. She said I told the other guy didn’t you hear. He said I paid first how would have I heard when you were across the table. She gave him his cash back.
By far the worse experience I have ever encountered in a restaurant. Let alone its average meal was...
Read moreThis place has gone downhill. I used to come here almost weekly with my friend and we loved it. Food is awesome, the service was great and I had Buffalo chips in front of me within minutes, followed by an order of large parm curry and Carolina mustard wings. However, since the beginning of the year I’ve had multiple bad experiences. I’m sitting at the bar right now and it’s finally time to let the owner know. When I got here I had to wait about 5 minutes to get my order started. No big deal, one of the waitresses was taking a call while the other was talking to customers. I don’t mind waiting a few minutes when employees are busy with others. I ordered buffalo chips and started looking at show times for the theater. I don’t know the exact time my order was placed but I know when I was looking at movies it was 8:45 because showtimes were 10:00 and I figured I had plenty of time. I didn’t get my chips until 9:20! I could MAYBE understand if was a night night but there weren’t any other orders in. It’s a late Saturday night, there are only two other tables! The waitress had come up prior and said the chips were taking longer than expected so she’d give me a large for the price of a regular. That tells me the chips were never started. You can’t just add more to an order… My wings did come out fairly fast, no complaints there. Mainly I’ve just noticed this specific group of staff are totally inconsistent. They are more concerned with giving each other dating advice than getting orders right. Whenever I’ve had issues it’s 3 of the 4 currently working that seem to create problems. To the owner, I get it. It’s so hard to find good help anymore and I’m sure you see this stuff happening. But what are you supposed to do? You can’t get anyone else to work a Saturday night so you have to make do with what’s available. I’m going to keep supporting your business because the food is good. I hope I can change my review to 5 stars eventually. Good luck! Also, I don’t know where you get the cheesecake but that stuff is incredible! Totally unexpected at...
Read moreI currently live near both a Buffalo Wild Wings location and a Wing Stop location. Both are within a 3 minute drive from my house. They were the place I always went when I was hungering for wings. Then I discovered Wing Nutz, and my whole outlook on what wings could be changed. I expected them to taste good, because most wings do. What I was not expecting was how amazing they were. Baked really is better. The sauce selection is expansive enough to never feel restricted on what you want to eat, and the meat is the best I have ever had from a wing restaurant. The Ogden, Utah location is staffed by some of the friendliest people you'll meet, all of whom make you feel welcome. And they do one thing that neither of the other locations near me do; they remember you. The drive for me to Wing Nutz is significantly longer, somewhere around 10 or so minutes, but is has always been worth it. And it's not just for the wings, either. My wife loves their salads, and has said on more than one occasion that their Chicken Tender salad is the best salad she has ever had, a claim backed up by the fact that she cleans the bowl out every time she gets it, which happens literally nowhere else we eat, with any other meal. I personally recommend the Apricot Teriyaki, if you're unsure of what sauces to get on your wings. It is the perfect combination of tangy and sweet and pairs excellently with their original buffalo sauce. If you're a traditional bone-in wing person, which I used to be, I really suggest giving their boneless wings a try. I did, and I haven't looked back. I'm unfortunately moving soon, and will be an even further drive away from Wing Nutz, but I can assure you that I'm still going to be making the drive there whenever I get the kind of hunger that only superb wings can satisfy. Try them if you're looking for something that's not your normal wing place, you won't be...
