Had a really fun time here yesterday! We went as a group of 7 (young kids, teenagers and adults :). We went exclusively to play at the arcade, so we chose to go on a Wednesday because it's half-off. The credits cost the same as usual, but the games cost half the credits than usual. I feel it was a decent value, but I don't think I'd pay double on a different day to enjoy the same experience. We spent $100 for 528 credits, which they split between 3 cards for us at the desk (they could have done more if we wanted). They have self-serve kiosks that I didn't know about and so I didn't use them. I'm not sure if the kiosks can split credits between multiple cards, but maybe. I love this modern card system. I hadn't been to an arcade in many years, so this was new for me... there are no actual physical tokens or physical tickets, instead, there are credits (1 credit = 1 token) and they are stored digitally on your card(s). You swipe your card at each game to play, a small display shows remaining credits on the card. When you win tickets, they are also stored digitally on the cards. We spent nearly 4 hours here, although, much of our time was spent watching each other play games. Most games cost 2 or 3 credits per game (and per player for most of the multiplayer games), although, there were several that cost a bit more. We had some decent success at some of the more "chance" games, like getting the jackpot at a ball-drop game called "Monster Drop X-treme", winning the max of 500 tickets in one swing of the hammer at a high striker style game called "Wack n Win", and scoring several hundred tickets from the big claw game called "Taj Mahal"... and while that was fun to get the big score a handful of times, I'd caution you against spending a lot of time on these. It really is a bit like gambling and you could easily burn through all your credits in a matter of minutes. To give you an idea, on half-off Wednesdays, the claw game I mentioned is 10 credits per play which equates to about $1.89 if you were to buy the $100 credit pack as I did, which means on another day of the week, it would be about $3.78 every time you played. While there is a bit of strategy to it and it is very possible to win tickets, there is chance involved as well. One of the teenagers in our party played it at least half a dozen times and would have kept going if I hadn't suggested they play something else for a while (they only won 100 tickets). So, here's my advice... Encourage the kiddos to play a variety of actual games and just have fun not thinking about earning tickets but just playing together, and then when the adults are worn out and getting tired of the loud sounds and bright lights and ready for the next meal, then go burn through the rest of your credits on the "gambling" games 😁. Finally, be prepared for the prize redemption process. We scored nearly 4,000 tickets, which we split evenly between the 5 non-adults in our group. Isaiah, who was working that area, was super patient waiting for the indecisive youngsters among us to make their selections. Oh, I forgot to mention, they have some great multiplayer games. I especially liked it when we turned the 4-player Halo shooting game into a 7-player game by putting 3 of the younger kids on the laps of the teenagers and adults, the had the younger ones shoot while the older ones aimed. It was a blast, I only wished they had a few more 4 player games. I would have loved it if they had more racing games like Mario kart or other car racing game. They did have 3 motorcycles, but you couldn't race each other. When I was scoping out this place, the review photos of the arcade were a bit scattered and I was hoping to get a feel for what kind of game variety there was, but didn't like scrolling through all the bowling photos to see what the arcade was going to be like. Hopefully my many photos helps someone. I'm not positive if I managed to get a picture of every game, but if I didn't, I'm pretty sure I came close. 😁 PS - don't forget to get pics of your group having fun!

My good friend and I had planned a day of fun with her three nieces (9, 14, and 17 years old) and we spent more than half of it at the Solomon Center. A delicious lunch at Costa Vida, a few hours of fun at Skinny Dogz (formerly Fat Cats,) and then a movie at the Megaplex. We were surprised to find out that Fat Cats is now called Skinny Dogz, but it was the same great place we remembered from before. The girls were excited to play laser tag, so we did that first. I was very impressed with how modern and exciting the laser tag arena was. I have played many times over the years at other places, but this arena had some really cool features I hadn't seen before, such as time delayed "laser bombs" that would hit anyone exposed in all directions. You activate them by shooting at the target enough times, then get out of the way fast! We also had a lot of fun at the arcade. At first the girls stood around not seeing anything that interested them, but after a few minutes, they found some games that they liked, and within about an hour or so they were begging us to reload their cards so they could play more. I enjoyed the air hockey table, and loved the motorcycle race game. (There were two, but the ones to the left were my favorite.) I learned that if you take first place, you get to race again for free. Before leaving, we cashed in our virtual tickets for a bunch of fun little prizes. We didn't have enough to get anything big, but we had plenty of candy to eat during the movie, and a bunch of fun little toys, including a super bounce ball, which my friend had to confiscate from one of the kids for bouncing it in the hallways at the movie theater later. (Ok, it wasn't one of the kids, it was me.) :) I would highly recommend Skinny Dogz as a great place to have fun with your kids or to take someone to for a fun date.

Me and my family come here every other Sunday and do the 2 hr deal. We all love it and have so much fun. Only reason I'm giving it a 3 is because the 2 times the manger assist us he was very rude and when I asked a couple question he looked and answered me like if I was stupid. And they always crowd everyone on one side of the bowling lanes other half was completely empty. It's like they don't want to spread people and give them space for there own benefits(less cleaning) Besides that we love it and keep coming. Tailgaters on the other hand tho...... never order from here if you want you food out 30+ minutes or even to just find someone to order can take 15+ minutes. And all the employees especially the cooks always look so miserable and you can tell they don't want to be there. And it shows in the food. It's a joke to even try to eat here. But we already know se we always eat before now.

Took the family out for our first time out since the pandemic hit. My 10 year old wanted to go bowling with his brothers. We got there at 6 and purchased the family pack that gave us 1.5 hours of bowling, a pizza, breadsticks, drinks, and a $5 game card. Perfect for us because bed time for the 2 year old is at 8:30. We purchase extra game cards for everyone because there was a 20 minute wait and we wanted to kill the time with some arcade fun. We went to play and discovered quite a few games there don’t work. It’s was a little frustrating but we played anyway because the prizes are cheap and the kids can literally have fun playing anything. They were on time getting our lane ready, which was great. When we went to pick up our shoes we ordered an additional pizza to go with our family pack because again, all boys and two of them are teens. The gal that took our order was pleasant and efficient, which she gets the star. We made it almost to the 7th frame with 6 of us before we decided to go check on our order. My husband went to the food counter, asked how much longer it would be and the young man at the counter said they already delivered it. Well clearly not, because he’s standing there asking where it is. The man then said, please stand to the side and I’ll find out what’s happening. He proceeded to take everyone’s order which was another 10 minutes, then told my husband to go check and see if it had been delivered to our lane. He looked and nope, no pizza. Came back told the man there wasn’t a pizza and he said okay stand to the side and I’ll get it going. He AGAIN proceeded to take more orders. After going another few frames without my husband I then came up to the counter and after hearing what was happening it was very clear that NO ONE cared about the lack of customer service that was happening. I went back to the girl at the counter and she got someone to come talk to my husband. It took another 20 minutes to get the pizza out. There were no breadsticks. The manager gave us extra time in our lane to make up for my husbands absence and surprise ... a $20 arcade card. By this time it’s about 7:30? 7:40 maybe. I have a toddler who is nearing bedtime and extra time on my lane. I tried to make the best of it, I didn’t complain about not getting the breadsticks because I honestly was worried about being ā€œTHATā€ lady. We were in the middle of our next game at about 8:15, toddler melt down. The thunder alley had started and the guy on the PA system was ā€œscaringā€ the toddler because it was loud. I felt bad for the young adults by us trying to have a good time listening to this kid cry so we packed up and didn’t end up really using the extra time or the card. Needless to say, our first outing location as a family in over year was poorly picked and I don’t think we will ever go back. Thanks for the $20 bucks in arcade games that we will never use, and the extra time we...

I have never been more disappointed in the complete lack of professionalism and customer service then what my family received at your Ogden location. We showed up and found our room the hostess that cost of $30.00 was no were to be seen. My husband had to go and locate her and tell her that we were ready to begin. This would have been so much better if they would have already had the pizza that we had already ordered was in the room and ready to go right at 4:00 so that we could eat it when we got there. This is not what happened. We only had 7 of our guests show up for the party. I asked the hostess if the $60.00 that we paid for these three people could be refunded back to us as this money would not be used. Our hostess replied that she was unable to make these decisions and then nothing further was done about this issue. Then if this wasn't bad enough; after we moved our stuff out of the party room like we were asked and I was sitting on the seat by lane 32 your Hispanic hostess came up to me and told me that the lane was reserved and I would have to move. I am disabled and can not sit on high level chairs. I am also not able to walk long distances without help. The lack of customer service in addressing this matter was ridiculous to say the least. Then when my husband talked to the staffing manager about the issue. He said that he would talk to her about the issue. From what I could see this was never done. This is not business that I will ever go to again. I will never take my family here, and i will make sure that my family and friends understand that this is not a business that is worth their money or time is any sense of the word.
